COI?[edit]

All your contributions have focussed on Sharan Pasricha and his business interests. Do you have an undisclosed conflict of interest? Bazj (talk) 06:36, 11 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]

No. We do not have any external relationship. He is an Indian who has done great work. I want to make it part of Wikipedia because I am also an Indian. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Arunkapadia (talkcontribs) 06:52, 11 April 2016‎

Thanks for the reply. I hope you find other topics to interest you in your contributions to the wiki. Happy editing. Bazj (talk) 07:03, 11 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Orphaned non-free image File:The Hoxton.png[edit]

⚠

Thanks for uploading File:The Hoxton.png. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described in the criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. --B-bot (talk) 03:11, 22 October 2016 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on Nathan Chan (entrepreneur) requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done for the following reason:

Under the criteria for speedy deletion, pages that meet certain criteria may be deleted at any time.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. Unblock request[edit]

Hello DGG, I saw your comment on your talk page about doing paid editing properly. I am referring to the HM8383 case. As you might have already seen many of the individuals I wrote about were notable. I am sorry for undisclosed paid editing and the use of sock puppets. If you unblock my account, I will work on the articles in the Articles for Creation and then get them approved from there. I will not use sock puppets again and I will not edit anything outside of the Articles for Creation area.Arunkapadia (talk) 04:21, 8 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for your note. It would help if you could recognize that your articles are in too promotional a tone--WP is not a place for press releases or CVs. You will be expected to declare all the other names you have used, to agree to edit under one name only, and to make the declarations specified in our Terms of Use, particularly with respect to paid contributions without disclosure: who or what organization has has paid you, and the names of any intermediates in the transactions. This needs to be specified on your user page or user talk page, and on the talk page of each contribution. DGG ( talk ) 05:44, 8 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you for responding. I tried contacting another user as well, but they did not respond and I was feeling very bad. Just the fact that you have responded means a lot. I do feel that my articles are not promotional, however, I am willing to learn Wikipedia policies. I am sure I will be able to see other people's perspective on the promotional tone once I am collaborating through articles for creation. I agree. I will avoid making any contributions to the main space. Wherever I am paid, I will explicitly post it on the talk page of the article.
Please read everything I said. You will need to post here or on your user page a list of every username that you have ever used in WP, and also a list of every page you have worked on where you have a conflict of interest of any sort, , and, if the conflict of interest is in any way is financial, to explain the circumstances in detail, That is the first step. (You were asked above about an article; you may want to reconsider the answer you gave about it) I will look here tomorrow for it. once you do this, I will explain further about the way in which articles should be written. I will in addition to giving you explanations, clarify them by starting to rewrite at least one or two of the articles involved--please read my user page for the background. In addition to what other people will say, I will be following up what you do in detail, expecting you to set a good example. Please remember to sign your comments--even on your own talk page, with 4 tilde signs like this: ~~~~. DGG ( talk ) 18:14, 8 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]
All right. I do hope that you will help me in becoming a good contributor. As promised, I will refrain from editing in the main space from now on. The investigation found all the user names I have used. My accounts:
  • HM8383
  • JK1984
  • Tropical Animal
  • Naval Nadia
  • Savio Saldanha
  • Sandy Mime
  • Weldtreed
  • Arunkapadia
  • Still Gamay
  • Jonathan Berube
  • Teatollie

I was paid by the subject for the following articles:

Following subjects are notable in my opinion but their articles were deleted. I would request you to move the article to Articles for Creation from these articles so I can work on them. They are paid as well.

Arunkapadia (talk) 09:25, 9 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Can you please explain what was going on at Jody MacDonald? Apparently you contacted the subject yourself: [1] SmartSE (talk) 16:28, 9 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]
Yes, I reached out to her. I saw her profile on Instagram and contacted her about a Wikipedia page. She agreed to pay a sum of money. However, she had not paid yet because as per the agreement she was supposed to pay after the work was complete. Arunkapadia (talk) 04:12, 11 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]
DGG, have you seen this?Arunkapadia (talk) 06:49, 14 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]
