Sorry, but that's a really wild idea by someone who isn't a professional archaeologist and although in a great newspaper, it's a newspaper, not a professional journal, and we should normally not use media reports for archaeology, or at least wait for a response. There's this.[1]. I also reverted your Buddhism edit - if reliable sources discuss this (see WP:RS we might include it, but otherwise there's no evidence it's encyclopedic. See WP:UNDUE.
