January 2024[edit]

Information icon Hello. This is a message to let you know that one or more of your recent contributions did not appear to be constructive and have been reverted. Please take some time to familiarise yourself with our policies and guidelines. You can find information about these at our welcome page which also provides further information about contributing constructively to this encyclopedia. If you only meant to make test edits, please use your sandbox for that. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you may leave a message on my talk page. Thank you. Regarding your recent edits to Air India fleet, it has been clearly mentioned earlier that details of wet-leased aircraft should not be included as per WP:ALFC. You have again made the same edits and please stop making such disruptive edits. Regarding the other edits, simplyflying is not a WP:RS; if you have an official source for the Boeing orders, it can be incorporated. Same goes for special livery cases, need reliable sources.Magentic Manifestations (talk) 02:51, 4 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]

@Magentic Manifestations I have now understood the problem about wet leased aircraft. But I have found and given enough references about B737 Max orders and the transfer of 50 of them to Air India Express and I have re-edited the page for this. In addition I also have given the special livery aircrafts. Hope this is okay now! Aviator Jr (talk) 09:56, 4 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Hi! Please check the alignment of text and ensure the same when you are adding it. Another point, please do not add Simpleflying as a source as per WP:RS and ensure that other notable sources are there. Have made the changes for now. Thanks! Thanks for the edit @Magentic Manifestations

Wikipedia and copyright[edit]

Control copyright icon Hello Aviator Jr! Your additions to Indian Ballistic Missile Defence Programme have been removed in whole or in part, as they appear to have added copyrighted content without evidence that the source material is in the public domain or has been released by its owner or legal agent under a suitably free and compatible copyright license. (To request such a release, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission.) While we appreciate your contributions to Wikipedia, there are certain things you must keep in mind about using information from sources to avoid copyright and plagiarism issues.

  • You can only copy/translate a small amount of a source, and you must mark what you take as a direct quotation with double quotation marks (") and cite the source using an inline citation. You can read about this at Wikipedia:Non-free content in the sections on "text". See also Help:Referencing for beginners, for how to cite sources here.
  • Aside from limited quotation, you must put all information in your own words and structure, in proper paraphrase. Following the source's words too closely can create copyright problems, so it is not permitted here; see Wikipedia:Close paraphrasing. Even when using your own words, you are still, however, asked to cite your sources to verify the information and to demonstrate that the content is not original research.
  • We have strict guidelines on the usage of copyrighted images. Fair use images must meet all ten of the non-free content criteria in order to be used in articles, or they will be deleted. To be used on Wikipedia, all other images must be made available under a free and open copyright license that allows commercial and derivative reuse.
  • If you own the copyright to the source you want to copy or are a legally designated agent, you may be able to license that text so that we can publish it here. Understand, though, that unlike many other sites, where a person can license their content for use there and retain non-free ownership, that is not possible at Wikipedia. Rather, the release of content must be irrevocable, to the world, into either the public domain (PD) or under a suitably free and compatible copyright license. Please see Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials.
  • Also note that Wikipedia articles may not be copied or translated without attribution. If you want to copy or translate from another Wikipedia project or article, you must follow the copyright attribution steps described at Wikipedia:Copying within Wikipedia. See also Help:Translation#License requirements.

It's very important that contributors understand and follow these practices, as policy requires that people who persistently do not must be blocked from editing. If you have any questions about this, please ask them here on this page, or leave a message on my talk page. Thank you. — Diannaa (talk) 16:09, 19 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks a lot for informing... I will take care from now Aviator Jr (talk) 17:45, 19 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]

March 2024[edit]

Information icon Hello, I'm Echo1Charlie. I noticed that you recently removed content from HAL AMCA without adequately explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an accurate edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry; the removed content has been restored. If you would like to experiment, please use your sandbox. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Happy editing:) Echo1Charlie (talk) 18:47, 8 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Disambiguation link notification for April 21[edit]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Indian Armed Forces Tri-Service Commands, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Brahmos. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, --DPL bot (talk) 17:50, 21 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
