ArbCom 2021 Elections voter message[edit]

Hello! Voting in the 2021 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23:59 (UTC) on Monday, 6 December 2021. All eligible users are allowed to vote. Users with alternate accounts may only vote once.

The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.

If you wish to participate in the 2021 election, please review the candidates and submit your choices on the voting page. If you no longer wish to receive these messages, you may add {{NoACEMM}} to your user talk page. MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 00:53, 23 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Your edits to infoboxes[edit]

Hello! While quite a lot of your infobox edits are helpful, I admit I am wary of how you treat one-volume series. Just because a series has only one volume currently doesn't mean it can't get more in the future. If you change |first to |published, it makes it seem that way to the reader, which is misleading and often incorrect. As for your edits regarding films, if the film has a separate article, giving it more than a link in the infobox often clogs it up and makes it unreasonably long. Nice catch, that never occurred to me. Should I leave the infoboxes unedited/revert the ones I've already changed? Azbridge (talk) 06:03, 25 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Unless there is a source that the series will only be one volume, I would revert. Same with the film changes if the film has a separate article. Link20XX (talk) 06:18, 25 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks for the advice! I'll make sure to avoid messing up like this in the future. Azbridge (talk) 06:26, 25 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]
No worries! Everyone screws up a lot. Link20XX (talk) 06:31, 25 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]
