Thank you for uploading File:Shukor.jpg. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can determine the license and the source of the file. If you know this information, then you can add a copyright tag to the image description page.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their license and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link.

File source problem with File:Malaysiau-23t.jpg[edit]

File Copyright problem
File Copyright problem

Thanks for uploading File:Malaysiau-23t.jpg. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, then a link to the website from which it was taken, together with a restatement of that website's terms of use of its content, is usually sufficient information. However, if the copyright holder is different from the website's publisher, their copyright should also be acknowledged.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their source and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link. Unsourced and untagged images may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If the image is copyrighted under a non-free license (per Wikipedia:Fair use) then the image will be deleted 48 hours after 02:52, 19 July 2009 (UTC). If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. 72.88.32.55 (talk) 02:52, 19 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

August 2009[edit]

Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, you may not know that Wikipedia has a Manual of Style that should be followed to maintain a consistent, encyclopedic appearance. Using different styles throughout the encyclopedia, as you did in List of universities in Malaysia, makes it harder to read. Please take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. - Bob K | Talk 17:57, 23 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Speedy deletion nomination of Setem[edit]

A tag has been placed on Setem requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a very short article providing little or no context to the reader. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content. You may wish to consider using a Wizard to help you create articles - see the Article Wizard.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. October 2009[edit]

Welcome to Wikipedia. It might not have been your intention, but you removed a speedy deletion tag from Setem, a page you have created yourself. If you do not believe the page should be deleted, you can place a {{hangon}} tag on the page, under the existing speedy deletion tag (please do not remove the speedy deletion tag), and make your case on the page's talk page. Administrators will look at your reasoning before deciding what to do with the page. Thank you. RadioFan (talk) 14:10, 14 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Speedy deletion nomination of Setem[edit]

A tag has been placed on Setem requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be a blatant copyright infringement. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words.

If the external website belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text — which means allowing other people to modify it — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. If you are not the owner of the external website but have permission from that owner, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission. You might want to look at Wikipedia's policies and guidelines for more details, or ask a question here.

Copyright problems with Setem[edit]

Hello. Concerning your contribution, Setem, please note that Wikipedia cannot accept copyrighted text or images obtained from other web sites or printed material, without the permission of the author(s). This article or image appears to be a direct copy from http://www.cinema.com.my/movies/movie_contents.aspx?search=2009.5905.setem.11167. As a copyright violation, Setem appears to qualify for deletion under the speedy deletion criteria. Setem has been tagged for deletion, and may have been deleted by the time you see this message.

If you believe that the article or image is not a copyright violation, or if you have permission from the copyright holder to release the content freely under the Creative Commons Attribution/Share-Alike License (CC-BY-SA) then you should do one of the following:

  • If you have permission from the author, leave a message explaining the details at Talk:Setem and send an email with the message to permissions-en@wikimedia.org. See Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission for instructions.
  • If a note on the original website states that it is licensed under the CC-BY-SA license, leave a note at Talk:Setem with a link to where we can find that note.
  • If you hold the copyright to the material: send an e-mail from an address associated with the original publication to permissions-en@wikimedia.org or a postal message to the Wikimedia Foundation permitting re-use under the CC-BY-SA and GFDL, and note that you have done so on Talk:Setem.

However, for textual content, you may simply consider rewriting the content in your own words. While we appreciate contributions, we must require all contributors to understand and comply with our copyright policy. Wikipedia takes copyright concerns very seriously, and persistent violators will be blocked from editing. Thank you. Singularity42 (talk) 23:29, 14 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Article Creation[edit]

Please stop. If you continue to introduce inappropriate pages to Wikipedia, such as Setem, you will be blocked from editing. If you need guidance on how to create appropriate pages, try using the Article Wizard. Singularity42 (talk) 23:29, 14 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Proposed deletion of Pisau Cukur[edit]

The article Pisau Cukur has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Not yet released - not yet notable; Wikipedia is not a crystal ball. This article does not meet the general notability guidelines - for inclusion, an article requires significant coverage in reliable sources that are independent of the subject. The only source here is a primary source, hence the article is not verifiable.

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{dated prod}} will stop the Proposed Deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. The Speedy Deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and Articles for Deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.  Chzz  ►  06:37, 18 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Please do not add content without citing verifiable and reliable sources, as you did to Lembing Awang Pulang Ke Dayang. Before making any potentially controversial edits, it is recommended that you discuss them first on the article's talk page. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. Thank you. Eeekster (talk) 07:24, 20 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Orphaned non-free image (File:Papadom.jpg)[edit]

⚠

Thanks for uploading File:Papadom.jpg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of "file" pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. ANI discussion[edit]

Hello, Aziz090. This message is being sent to inform you that there currently is a discussion at Wikipedia:Administrators' noticeboard/Incidents regarding an issue with which you may have been involved. The thread is Copyvios by User:Aziz090‎. Thank you. Singularity42 (talk) 13:37, 22 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

You have been blocked from editing for a period of 1 week for adding material to Wikipedia which is copied from other sources. Please stop. You are welcome to make useful contributions after the block expires. If you believe this block is unjustified you may contest this block by adding the text {{unblock|Your reason here}} below. FisherQueen (talk · contribs) 13:52, 22 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Now you know that you can't unblock yourself; you are not a Wikipedia administrator. Make sure you understand the rule you broke before you edit again, or you'll simply face another block. -FisherQueen (talk · contribs) 00:17, 23 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]
This user's unblock request has been reviewed by an administrator, who declined the request. Other administrators may also review this block, but should not override the decision without good reason (see the blocking policy).

Request reason:

I'm just make an useful article

Decline reason:

No indication that user understands or acknowledges reason for block. OhNoitsJamie Talk 03:35, 23 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

Do not remove block messages while a block is in place. You have already been warned once. Any future blanking may result in an administrator removing your ability to edit your own talk page during the block. Singularity42 (talk) 02:26, 23 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I apologize with the above comments. I was too hasty, and you are allowed to remove your block messages during a block. (I also notice that the prior warning I refered to was also removed by the administrator who first made it.) I would advise, though, that if you are seeking an unblock, it helps administrators to keep the block message up so that there is some context (which was a problem during your previous unblock request.) But, nonetheless, you are allowed to remove the message if you so wish, and I was wrong for saying that you could not. Singularity42 (talk) 03:17, 23 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]
This blocked user's request to have autoblock on their IP address lifted has been reviewed by an administrator, who declined the request.

Creating copyright violations

Decline reason: You are blocked directly and are using the wrong template to request an unblock. — TNXMan 23:28, 23 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Indefinitely blocked[edit]

Because of your constant block evasion via IP addresses and your persistent addition of adding material that is under copyright, you are now blocked indefinitely. Regards, MuZemike 23:33, 23 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Protecting the talk page to prevent further disruption. Please note that you cannot unblock yourself and as above, that this block is not an autoblock. Dekimasuよ! 06:46, 25 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Notice

The article Pisau Cukur (Malay term) has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Does not meet WP:NOTABILITY.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.
