Information icon Hello, Azupancich. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places, or things you have written about on Wikipedia, you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a COI may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic, and it is important when editing Wikipedia articles that such connections be completely transparent. See the conflict of interest guideline and FAQ for organizations for more information. In particular, we ask that you please:

  • avoid editing or creating articles related to you and your family, friends, school, company, club, or organization, as well as any competing companies' projects or products;
  • instead, you are encouraged to propose changes on the Talk pages of affected article(s) (see the {{request edit}} template);
  • when discussing affected articles, disclose your COI (see WP:DISCLOSE);
  • avoid linking to the Wikipedia article or to the website of your organization in other articles (see WP:SPAM);
  • exercise great caution so that you do not violate Wikipedia's content policies.

In addition, you must disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution which forms all or part of work for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation (see WP:PAID).

Please take a few moments to read and review Wikipedia's policies regarding conflicts of interest, especially those pertaining to neutral point of view, sourcing and autobiographies. Thank you.Deb (talk) 09:24, 6 May 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Tanja Sadow[edit]

You wrote: I note your valid suggestions for the need for citations. I would appreciate your assistance in identifying the promotional wording that lead you to add the advertising tag. As many other posters on your talk page have suggested this was not the intention and the post was written after referring to guidelines and making efforts to provide external citations. Finally I would like to argue on your use of the notability tag. This person is member of several public organisations in this country as well as a publicly quoted industry professional in print, radio and television (NB: I am not familiar how to link the former two and citations provided to local newspapers all have paywalls to some users but are accessible freely from public libraries in this country - hence your inability to view the articles online should not justify the notability tag, if this was a contributing factor).

I appreciate the difficulties you have in demonstrating the subject's notability. I'm assuming you have read the notability guidelines for this category of person, including WP:CREATIVE and Wikipedia:Notability (organizations and companies); also Wikipedia:Verifiability. Maybe Wikipedia:Citing sources and Wikipedia:Identifying reliable sources could also be of further help. If you ask questions at Wikipedia:Teahouse you may be able to find other contributors who have time to help you by re-drafting the article.Deb (talk) 16:16, 7 May 2017 (UTC)[reply]
