Azure Vehicle Graphics[edit]

Thanks for experimenting with Wikipedia. The links you added to the page Azure Vehicle Graphics have been removed. Please do not add commercial links—or links to your own private websites—to Wikipedia. Wikipedia is not a vehicle for advertising or a mere collection of external links. You are, however, encouraged to add content instead of links. See the welcome page if you would like to learn more about contributing to our encyclopedia. Thanks. Here's what I recommend you do: write the most comprehensive article you can at Azure Vehicle Graphics. Add any notable things about the company (largest, first, etc.). Make sure you explain why it is more notable than firms offering the same products or services. Add all the verifiable references you can find. If that article meets the notability criteria, we can link it to the other articles. As it stands, you have not shown that this company is notable per guidelines. Jokestress is right - we need to know why Azure Graphics is notable enough to be singled out in an article on wrap advertisements in general. ... discospinster talk 19:37, 12 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]
When you go to edit a page, you will see a passage above the editable area that says: "Wikipedia is not an advertising service. Promotional articles about yourself, your friends, your company or products; or articles created as part of a marketing or promotional campaign, may be deleted in accordance with our deletion policies. For more information, see Wikipedia:Spam." Technically, if your company is notable, you should wait until someone else writes about it. I would write it myself if the company seemed notable. Please give citations for the articles about Azure Vehicle Graphics. They need to be about the company (preferably in the headline), and not just mention it. I can tell you from a lot of experience that your company does not appear to meet the notability criteria and is definitely a spam violation. The fact that you have said that this should be included because bigger companies have all the "advantages" suggests that inclusion is based on promoting your company and not about helping readers understand that industry segment. Jokestress 20:00, 12 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]
LOL - you have plenty of excuses. But I'm glad that you are a self-proclaimed expert on whose notable in our industry. You should add it to your list of expertise along with film, literature, and hair removal. (And my comment, which you took out of context, was in reference to 3M, which is a supplier, not a vendor or competitor of ours.)
Unless you provide the evidence requested by a number of editors regarding notability (that Azure Vehicle Graphics is the biggest, or first, or best, or only one to do ___), along with the author, article, date, and publication that confirms the statements, your additions will continue to be reverted. If you continue to persist after that, you may be be blocked from editing Wikipedia. Jokestress 21:06, 12 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Sprint Nextel has $35 billion in annual revenue and 62,000 employees. That's notable. There are hundreds of articles in national publications each year about them. To compare your company to them does not help your case. You get 81 Google results. They get over 5 million. Again, please provide specific references for your company if you wish to have an article. Hey, thought I'd touch base with you real quick. Regarding this edit.... I don't understand, how, transwiki links, categories, and, the reference list qualify as spam. Anyhow, I wanted to let you know, that I've restored them. If I did so in error, please, let me know. SQL(Query Me!) 04:19, 18 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

The "American Trucking Association" PPT presentation blatantly advertises your graphics firm on the slides. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Azure123 (talkcontribs)

Uhm. How do you come to the conclusion that I work for a graphics firm? As an aside, I do not. Also, the categories, transwiki links, and, reference list, are not PPT presentations. They are important parts of all articles. Spam fighting is important, but, it is important to be careful, when spam fighting. SQL(Query Me!) 00:02, 19 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to make constructive contributions to Wikipedia, at least one of your recent edits, such as the one you made to Wrap advertising, did not appear to be constructive and has been reverted or removed. Please use the sandbox for any test edits you would like to make, and take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. Ummm, there is a direct link to a PPT presentation that advertises Y3K Graphics. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Azure123 (talkcontribs)

Please stop removing the reference list from Wrap advertising. If you have an issue with one of the references, remove that reference from the article (It will be enclosed in <ref></ref> tags), but, not the reference list, which, is the only way the other references can be listed in the article.
