Hi BChulmers77. I've recently noticed that you put {{PD-self}} tags on several images that were created by other people such as "C. Helnwein for Studio Helnwein" (e.g. File:Helnwein installation.jpg). You cannot give permission to use these images because you are not the author, and you must not use this license tag on these images. As such, I'm going to mark them as requiring a fair use rationale, and they will be deleted unless you supply one. Additionally, they are too high-resolution for fair use and may need to be downscaled. Dcoetzee 19:58, 18 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I noticed you added fair use rationales. I've also downscaled these images appropriately. However, you should be aware that I removed Image:Last supper.jpg from the article, because the article did not contain any text referring to this image, making the fair use justification weak. If you wish to keep this image you should write more content discussing it. I'm also concerned that the justification for the lead image is similarly weak. Fair use rationale for File:Helnwein installation.jpg[edit]

Thanks for uploading or contributing to File:Helnwein installation.jpg. I notice the file page specifies that the file is being used under fair use but there is not a suitable explanation or rationale as to why each specific use in Wikipedia constitutes fair use. Please go to the file description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale.

If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'file' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Dcoetzee 20:10, 18 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]
