Pantip.com[edit]

Hi! Or, sawadee khrup! I've started the Pantip.com stub and am attempting to expand it in an effort to make it notable enough to be included on the English-language Wikipedia. Almost as soon as I posted it, it was flagged for deletion, but it now just has a notability tag on it. Can you help expand the article or offer some references that would help it out? Has it won any awards that you know of? Kap khun khrup. Wisekwai 19:14, 28 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

    • I'll look into it krub. Thanks for your info krub--B.F.Pinkerton 05:18, 29 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]
      • Just stopping by again to say I thought you made an excellent contribution to the Pantip.com page. I'm interested in developing a page about Sanook.com as well, so your information about that was helpful toward that. Thanks, or khrup khun kap, again. Wisekwai 09:43, 19 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Writing Thai[edit]

Hi,

I noticed your name in the list of Thai native speakers and I wondered whether you'd be ready to help out a bit with the creation of lessons teaching the Thai script on Wikibooks. I've started writing a lesson plan, following the guideline of a course I successfully wrote for the Greek alphabet, but I'm only just learning the Thai script myself and don't even know how to type it on the computer. Could you add a few suitable words to the table? There must be lots and lots, particularly considering that Thai has a transliterated name for all major cities and countries of the world, the difficulty is just finding them and making sure that they aren't too far from the English word, so that students can recognise what they're reading... right now a lot of students are too scared to learn Thai because of the foreign alphabet. Your help would be invaluable. Thank you!

An image or media file that you uploaded or altered, Image:Taxisuicide.jpg, has been listed at Wikipedia:Images and media for deletion. Please look there to see why this is (you may have to search for the title of the image to find its entry), if you are interested in it not being deleted. Thank you.
