Requests[edit]

Any requests for more info from any of the articles on the page? BOZ (talk) 01:07, 6 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

  • Hi there, firstly, thanks for putting all of these reviews on the relevant pages—very useful! There are a few articles that I'd like to request a scan of if possible:
    • 131: Empire (Atari): pp.78–86
    • 142: Empire (DOS): pp.42–51
    • 154: Star Fleet II: pp.76–83
    • 193: Space Legions: pp.57–63
    • 195: Empire Deluxe: pp.57–64
  • All of these would be very useful, and if you don't mind emailing the scans to me (xensyria at gmail dot com) I would appreciate it muchly! Thanks --xensyriaT 13:05, 16 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Hey, finally, a request!  :) I'd be glad to help. If you don't hear from me this weekend, ping me again. BOZ (talk) 15:05, 16 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Recieved: Thanks very much sir, they'll improve their respective articles in due time (I've already used something from one of the Empire reviews). Much appreciated! --xensyriaT 12:01, 18 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]
No problem at all - glad to be of help! :) BOZ (talk) 13:53, 18 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Starflight review[edit]

I just found this page (which makes me want to cry tears of joy, btw) while doing a Google search for any information about a Starflight review in Dragon magazine. The article already has the little blurb you added from issue #116, but in that article, they hinted that they would revisit the game fully in a later issue. I guess they never did? Your list looks pretty comprehensive, and you don't have it listed. Torchiest talkedits 03:27, 8 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Hah, I wish I could get more exposure for this page - I know that a few people would find it incredibly useful.  ;) At some point I need to pick back up in the late 1990s issues and pick up the ones I'm missing. I have issues 1-250 on a CD-ROM, and it does have a search feature, so I will give it a look shortly. BOZ (talk) 13:00, 8 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Sorry, the search engine gave me only a review for Starflight 2 in Dragon #165. BOZ (talk) 02:05, 9 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Considering my love for 20th century computer games, I'll probably be using this as a reference in the years to come. My claim to fame was issue #166, in which my hints for Curse of the Azure Bonds were first in the Clue Corner. What a different time it was, that hints had to be shared like that. Torchiest talkedits 02:41, 9 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Oh yeah, you got printed? :) BOZ (talk) 11:51, 9 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Ancient Art of War at Sea review[edit]

How extensive is the review in issue 129 for that game? It's on my long list of GA targets, and I don't think I have a copy of that issue in my mom's attic. :) —Torchiest talkedits 18:21, 14 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]

It's about 1/3 of a page - want me to e-mail it to you? :) BOZ (talk) 05:35, 16 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Yeah, that would be cool, thanks! —Torchiest talkedits 05:53, 16 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Sent! Part of it was actually talking about "Wings of Fury", so I omitted that. BOZ (talk) 15:01, 16 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks for that. One other question: it's pretty short, and you said it was one third of a physical page in the magazine, but in the article you have it listed as pages 32–42. Is that a typo, or is it split across two pages? —Torchiest talkedits 21:16, 17 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]
I guess that was me being lazy; that page range is for the whole "Role of Computers" feature. It's only on one page, and I can get you the page number if you want to narrow it down. BOZ (talk) 21:47, 17 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Sure, no big rush though. —Torchiest talkedits 23:13, 17 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]
page 36. :) BOZ (talk) 04:30, 18 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]
