Reply[edit]

Is there a press release to that effect? Currently they have only bought the land to build the stations, according to sources that I can find. —Kurykh 06:47, 22 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Oh, and there was actually a news article about them starting construction of the West Dublin/Pleasanton station... —Kurykh 06:53, 22 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Um, maybe I should clarify myself: articles that say they have actually started construction? Your sources are good, but they only say they plan to start building mid-year. Sorry if I'm asking for a lot, but WP:V is a policy, after all. —Kurykh 07:10, 22 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Image copyright problem with Image:WHYS.jpg[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:WHYS.jpg. You've indicated that the image is being used under a claim of fair use, but you have not provided an adequate explanation for why it meets Wikipedia's requirements for such images. In particular, for each page the image is used on, the image must have an explanation linking to that page which explains why it needs to be used on that page. Can you please check

  • That there is a non-free use rationale on the image's description page for each article the image is used in.
  • That every article it is used on is linked to from its description page.

This is an automated notice by FairuseBot. For assistance on the image use policy, see Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. --FairuseBot (talk) 09:24, 4 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

VTA Map[edit]

I noticed you did some modification to the map of the VTA light rail used in several articles. Are you able to edit the names on the map? the Snell and Cottle stations are labeled backwards to their relative positions. BT14 (talk) 00:18, 12 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, I swapped the two station labels on File:VTALightRail.svg and File:VTA-light-rail.svg. Does that look better? Thanks. --ChrisRuvolo (t) 14:40, 16 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]

BSicons to Commons[edit]

Hello! I noticed your   (exvSTRr3-),   (evÜWo+l),   (uevSTRe)… and I guess there’s more where that come from. Can you please upload them directly to commons (I recomend this) so that they can be readily shared with other projects and be catched in the centralized discussions we’re having there? Thank you! --Tuvalkin (talk) 15:49, 7 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Template:Rail-interchange[edit]

I reverted your change to the template because non-free images are not allowed to be used there. Useddenim (talk) 12:15, 10 February 2014 (UTC)[reply]

It is not copyrighted because (lacking an exception in statute like those for works of the Department of Toxic Substances Control or works of certain colleges established by statute) "unrestricted disclosure is required". See County of Santa Clara v. CFAC. In brief, the "CPRA contains no provisions either for copyrighting [this work] or for conditioning its release on an end user or licensing agreement by the requester. The record thus must be disclosed as provided in the CPRA, without any such conditions or limitations." BT14 (talk) 04:29, 24 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on Tomato (company), requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations for more information.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines.
