Thanks for referring exactly what number you believe applies. I believe it should remain because the image is to illustrate the overall athletic program at Florida Gulf Coast University (FGCU) and as a unifying element on pages devoted to individual FGCU athletic team articles, allowing for rapid and accurate assessment of the article's topic. Additionally it is a team / corporate logo, which is also acceptable. Can you discuss why I'm incorrect here? BahamaLlama8 (talk) 13:14, 12 September 2013 (UTC)

Each year of a football team qualifies as a perennial event. UUI#14 prohibits usage on those articles A logo of a perennial event (or of its sponsoring company), used to illustrate an article about a specific instance of that event Its a matter of minimizing non-free content.
