Hello and some tips[edit]

Hi Bakanae - it is nice to see a plant biologist around - our coverage of a lot of plant physiology is still pretty poor so I am sure you can help improve our articles. I have a couple of tips for you regarding citations: if you are citing papers, you can use {{cite doi}} and then all you have to do is add the digital object identifier of the paper to the template and a computer will do the rest. As that might not make sense, adding <ref>{{Cite journal | first1 = G.| last2 = Gonzalez-Meler| last1 = Drake | first2 = A. | first3 = P. | title = MORE EFFICIENT PLANTS: A Consequence of Rising Atmospheric CO2?| last3 = Long| journal = Annual Review of Plant Physiology and Plant Molecular Biology | volume = 48 | issue = | pages = 609–639 | date=Jun 1997 | issn = 1040-2519 | pmid = 15012276 | doi = 10.1146/annurev.arplant.48.1.609}}</ref> will add this to the references list:

Drake, G.; Gonzalez-Meler, A.; Long, P. (Jun 1997). "MORE EFFICIENT PLANTS: A Consequence of Rising Atmospheric CO2?". Annual Review of Plant Physiology and Plant Molecular Biology. 48: 609–639. doi:10.1146/annurev.arplant.48.1.609. ISSN 1040-2519. PMID 15012276.

If you are citing books, you can use https://reftag.appspot.com/ to convert a google books url into a citation. I think you should find that self explanatory. Good luck with editing and please let me know if you have any questions or problems. Cheers SmartSE (talk) 16:25, 8 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]
