Welcome[edit]

Hello, Bamtelim, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Unfortunately, one or more of your edits have not conformed to Wikipedia's verifiability policy, and have been reverted. Wikipedia articles should refer only to facts and interpretations that have been stated in print or on reputable websites or other forms of media. Always remember to provide a reliable source for quotations and for any material that is likely to be challenged, or it may be removed. Wikipedia also has a related policy against including original research in articles.

If you are stuck and looking for help, please see the guide for citing sources or come to the new contributors' help page, where experienced Wikipedians can answer any queries you have! Or, you can just type {{helpme}} on your user page, and someone will show up shortly to answer your questions. Here are a few other good links for newcomers:

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically produce your name and the date. If you have any questions, check out Wikipedia:Where to ask a question or ask me on my talk page. Again, welcome!  Dougweller (talk) 18:43, 7 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Conflict of interest and reliable sources[edit]

Please read Wikipedia:Conflict of interest - you should not be adding your own blog to articles.

And if you read WP:RS you will see our policy on sources, we don't use blogs as sources for this sort of thing, only occasionally if the subject of the author is the author of the blog. You should also read WP:OR. Would you also please carefully check your English as I've found some, but not all, of your edits confusing. Dougweller (talk) 06:57, 17 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

May 2010[edit]

Thank you for your contributions. Please remember to mark your edits, such as your recent edits to Torah, as "minor" only if they truly are minor edits. In accordance with Help:Minor edit, a minor edit is one that the editor believes requires no review and could never be the subject of a dispute. Minor edits consist of things such as typographical corrections, formatting changes, or rearrangement of text without modification of content. Additionally, the reversion of clear-cut vandalism and test edits may be labeled "minor". Thank you. Sorry to keep posting here, but this was another problem. A tag has been placed on Organised Political Editing on Wikipedia, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to have no meaningful content or history, and the text is unsalvageably incoherent. If the page you created was a test, please use the sandbox for any other experiments you would like to do. You may also wish to consider using a Wizard to help you create articles - see the Article Wizard. Feel free to leave a message on my talk page if you have any questions about this.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag - if no such tag exists then the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate and adding a hangon tag is unnecessary), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the page does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that they userfy the page or have a copy emailed to you. I have moved the page to User:Bamtelim/Organised Political Editing on Wikipedia. Please improve the article before attempting to move it back into article space. -- Petri Krohn (talk) 12:39, 6 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Removing Strikeout[edit]

In this edit you removed the <s> tag that I placed around text that I wrote, thus reversing my strikeout of my text. This is extremely poor form, please do not ever do this again. ErikHaugen (talk) 15:38, 6 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Maps[edit]

I see you added a map to Promised Land. In the edit summary you said that the new map is also important. My problem is that now we have two maps that show a different territory for one and the same claim. Can you perhaps help shed some light on that? Debresser (talk) 22:59, 25 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Hi there, I'm HasteurBot. I just wanted to let you know that Wikipedia talk:Articles for creation/Organized Editing on Wikipedia, a page you created has not been edited in at least 180 days. The Articles for Creation space is not an indefinite storage location for content that is not appropriate for articlespace. If your submission is not edited soon, it could be nominated for deletion. If you would like to attempt to save it, you will need to improve it. You may request Userfication of the content if it meets requirements. If the deletion has already occured, instructions on how you may be able to retrieve it are available at WP:REFUND/G13. Thank you for your attention. Speedy deletion nomination of Murattal[edit]

Hello Bamtelim,

I wanted to let you know that I just tagged Murattal for deletion, because it's too short to identify the subject of the article.

If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to work on it, you can contest this deletion, but please don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.

You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions. Mayast (talk) 14:19, 8 September 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Your article submission Organized Editing on Wikipedia[edit]

Hello Bamtelim. It has been over six months since you last edited your article submission, entitled Organized Editing on Wikipedia.

The page will shortly be deleted. If you plan on editing the page to address the issues raised when it was declined and resubmit it, simply edit the submission and remove the {{db-afc}} or {{db-g13}} code. Please note, however, that Articles for Creation is not for the indefinite hosting of material deemed unsuitable for the encyclopedia mainspace.

If your submission has already been deleted by the time you get there, and you want to retrieve it, copy this code: {{subst:Refund/G13|Wikipedia talk:Articles for creation/Organized Editing on Wikipedia}}, paste it in the edit box at this link, click "Save", and an administrator will in most cases undelete the submission.

Thanks for your submission to Wikipedia, and happy editing. HasteurBot (talk) 19:47, 8 September 2013 (UTC)[reply]
