Page moves[edit]
Hi, I was just wondering what your reason was for moving pages such as UEFA Cup 1991–92, where you have replaced the dash with a hyphen. Is a hyphen not preferable for the date range to fit with the Mos (WP:DASH)? Or does this not apply to article titles? Since you were the only one to answer fully to my doubts and desires concerning this point which i will now address, i will continue (if it's OK) asking for you opinion and help...
This "user" PARARUBBAS is really driving me crazy, and i found out one thing that makes his actions even more stunning: he continues, after my message, and your messageS, to remove LINKS, REFS, BRACKETS and PARAGRAPHS in sentences but, he adds (and we are talking about football articles, which i believe cover the totality of his "contributions) infoboxes with stats!!! He DESTROYS and BUILDS at the same time?! That one sure is difficult to understand...I have reverted some edits these past 2,3 days, but am gradually losing my patience/will to contribute.
Anyways, hope you have a very pleasant holiday (also saw that on your user page), rest well, and i'll WIKI-see you!!!

Just to let you know this: even though i am PRETTY SURE that user PARARUBBAS speaks English, otherwise he would write in the Portuguese (also sure it is his native tongue, because ALL articles he "contributes" to are either portuguese players or those in portuguese league) version, i left him a (FINAL) message on his talk page, not sure if he reads those or not, but written in PORTUGUESE, to see that he stops his disruptive actions. Tell me something when you return from holidays, please.

I give up for now, have been in front of the computer reverting for 1/2 hours, this guy does not care (links, refs, brackets, paragraphs, OUT OF MY WAY PLEASE), maybe i'll return in a few days, with about 500 articles to revert, maybe i should relax more man?

PARARUBBAS does not learn[edit]

I just saw that PARARUBBAS has returned from his 24hr blocking and...Guess what? He came back doing the SAME! I give up, since i don't know how to (and IF i can, given i am anonymous user) block him myself...
The language issue is pretty much clear in my view. He has to be Portuguese, since his edits are 99,999999% of footballers of that country or working in that league. Upon writing to WP:ANI about PARARUBBAS, former admin SCEPTRE replied to me, telling me and THE VANDAL to both COOL IT, so...
After 1 year and 9 months (approximately) of ALWAYS TRYING TO HELP AND IMPROVE, without an account (anonymous yes, nothing to hide), i am officially leaving WP (at least as editor), tired of being told to "Cool it", "Your edits constitute vandalism", "Please stop adding defamatory info" (having done NOTHING OF THE SORT), one guy even told me to "Fuck off" if i disagreed with him (user 202.75.80.182)...Oh well...
PARARUBBAS (and other vandals), vandalize away, no more worries with me from now on, i will "cool it"...Permanently. I will leave him a message in Portuguese (i will not insult him, i promise) telling i am leaving, he can do what the hell he wants. Block him, cool, don't block him cool too.

PARARUBBAS, a doubt emerged...[edit]

Although i am still quite focused on leaving, this doubt has just surfaced my mind: When you consult an article's edit history, you can clearly see that some usernames are highlighted in red, as opposed to the habitual blue, and others have the icon "talk" in the same fashion? For instance, i am anonymous user, but all my options are "in blue". For instance, PARARUBBAS' name is in red.
Can you please explain to me that difference in colours? That could explain his silence, not his vandalism and removals.

Thank you very much for your note. I also "tipped" SATORI about this issue, and the "gentleman" PARARUBBAS has been blocked for another 2 weeks. I have also thought this: Even if does not know how to read his messages and has NEVER read any of our warnings (in POR or ENG), it is still NO EXCUSE for his removing of important stuff, so the block is more than justified, even if i think it is TOO SHORT (1 day, then 3, then 2 weeks? He should be banned PERMANENTLY by now, just my opinion man).

Hi! Yes, it is better to go through each move separately. However, if the move is supported by WP:NC#Sports teams you can move, but you have to explain the reason for the move, as you have done with your recent requests. I also request to add the move explanation (with links to Google News and the club's English page) in the article's talk page, due to the repercussions that the move can have. Hey BanRay. I've admired your signature for a while, and somewhat shamelessly borrowed its style to divise my own signature I wanted to try out; I was getting a little tired of the mundane old Falastur2 (talk). However, when I put the new code into the signature box in preferences, it wouldn't work, it just displays the code. You can check the edits on my userpage (the first is my devised sig, the second one with the timestamp and all the code is the failed attempt) if you want to see, but it literally is as I say - a failed attempt. I'm guessing it's because that box in preferences doesn't like the span or superscript code I was using, but I don't know how to get around that. HI ANTON, VASCO here, and sorry man, earlier i pressed "save" by mistake,
I saw that you reverted an edit on PREDRAG JOKANOVIC (seen here http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Predrag_Jokanovi%C4%87&diff=227011257&oldid=219503493) by user 92.5.9.102, and i will only say this: this user removed the EXTERNAL LINK, he glued sentences, and his "new contributions" so far consist also of PORTUGUESE FOOTBALL. My guess(es)? He could very well be PARARUBBAS, with a different account, or as a sockpuppet or whatever...BEWARE!!!

Content removal[edit]

i most certainly understand your concern on my removal of content on RENATO QUEIRÓS (Portuguese footballer) so, i'll proceed to explain why i did it, having already "dropped a line" in EDIT SUMMARY:
He is, with all due respect, a player who has had an obscure career, and there was NO NEED for such a detailed career info (i have seen WIKIARTICLES of much accomplished players with MUCH MUCH MUCH smaller storylines). The names of some clubs (most of them "non-wiki", and respective wikilinks) were repeated to exhaustion, which also unduly enlarged the article size.
