Managing a conflict of interest[edit]

Information icon Hello, BantonPhoenix. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places or things you have written about in the page Nick Drake, you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a COI may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic. See the COI guideline and FAQ for organizations for more information. We ask that you:

  • avoid editing or creating articles about yourself, your family, friends, company, organization or competitors;
  • propose changes on the talk pages of affected articles (you can use the {{request edit}} template);
  • disclose your COI when discussing affected articles (see WP:DISCLOSE);
  • avoid linking to your organization's website in other articles (see WP:Spam);
  • do your best to comply with Wikipedia's content policies.

In addition, you must disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution which forms all or part of work for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation (see WP:PAID).

Also, editing for the purpose of advertising, publicising, or promoting anyone or anything is not permitted. Thank you. Theroadislong (talk) 21:16, 15 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]

The sources are already noted.[edit]

The sources have already been mentioned at the bottom of the page, the current written info is inaccurate and false in parts even, this is just deeper and more accurate information from said sources. Now quit changing it back, you are letting false, incomplete and inaccurate information be stated otherwise. You need more confirmation? I organise The Annual Nick Drake gathering, you really think I’d post anything untrue about Nick? By now I heard most stories, I have talked to people Nick knew, ex-girlfriends, friends, I talked to Gabrielle Drake , I was close to Keith Morris. So I am not a random editor. It is false to state Nick commited suicide, this is not a known fact. The amount of pills mentioned is from an unknown source saying Gabrielle said so and was never corroborated by a medic. So it is false to state it as fact. Nick did not only take the 1 mentioned drug, but two more, as was said by Nick’s father. The way things are written now is disrespectful to the memory of Nick Drake, as nobody truly knows what happened that night, so it is only fair to write only what is likely to have happened due to the medications Nick was taking at the time.
