Notice of No Original Research Noticeboard discussion[edit]

Hello, Barbarajohnson1. This message is being sent to inform you that a discussion is taking place at Wikipedia:No original research/Noticeboard regarding an issue with which you may have been involved. The thread is Biographical information at CK Morgan. Thank you. Joe SchmedleyT* 17:50, 28 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]

This is an automated message from MadmanBot. I have performed a web search with the contents of Ck Morgan (Rnb Singer), and it appears to include material copied directly from http://teamckofficial.com/bio.

It is possible that the bot is confused and found similarity where none actually exists. If that is the case, you can remove the tag from the article. The article will be reviewed to determine if there are any copyright issues.

If substantial content is duplicated and it is not public domain or available under a compatible license, it will be deleted. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material. You may use such publications as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. See our copyright policy for further details. Hello, I noticed that you recently created a new page, Ck Morgan (Rnb Singer). First, thank you for your contribution; Wikipedia relies solely on the efforts of volunteers such as you. Unfortunately, the page you created covers a topic on which we already have a page – CK Morgan. Because of the duplication, your article has been tagged for speedy deletion. Please note that this is not a comment on you personally and we hope you will continue helping to improve Wikipedia. If the topic of the article you created is one that interests you, then perhaps you would like to help out at CK Morgan – you might like to discuss new information at the article's talk page.

If you think the article you created should remain separate, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, you can place a request here. Additionally if you would like to have someone review articles you create before they go live so they are not nominated for deletion shortly after you post them, allow me to suggest the article creation process and using our search feature to find related information we already have in the encyclopedia. Try not to be discouraged. Wikipedia looks forward to your future contributions. STATic message me! 20:04, 29 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, Barbarajohnson1. I wanted to let you know that I’m proposing an article that you started, CK Morgan (Singer), for deletion because it's a biography of a living person that lacks references. If you don't want CK Morgan (Singer) to be deleted, please add a reference to the article.

If you don't understand this message, you can leave a note on my talk page.

Thanks, RealDealBillMcNeal (talk) 05:41, 30 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, I'm BracketBot. I have automatically detected that your edit to CK Morgan may have broken the syntax by modifying 2 "[]"s. If you have, don't worry: just edit the page again to fix it. Adding unsourced birth date and removing maintenance templates[edit]

Hello Barbarajohnson1,

To be clear, even if you know the subject of the article CK Morgan, it is not appropriate to keep re-adding a birth date without citing it, and it is not helpful to remove the maintenance templates at the top of the article before fixing how messily written and poorly cited the article is. Your account may be blocked if you continue doing this. If you have issues with this, please discuss at the article's talk page (Talk:CK Morgan) before simply undoing these changes. Thank you. Joe SchmedleyT* 16:23, 3 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Hello![edit]

Hello!

It looks like you've run into some issues lately and I wanted to throw you a rope and try to help you.

From what I can tell, it looks like you're editing CK Morgan and have a close connection to him as his publicist. We consider that a conflict of interest here at Wikipedia but that doesn't mean that you're barred editing the article. It simply means that your aims might clash with Wikipedia's aim of being a neutral encyclopedia based on verifiable information published by reliable sources. However, if a COI editor shows that their conflict of interest cannot be set aside to put Wikipedia's aims first, that editor can and will be blocked or banned from editing Wikipedia.

This appears to have become an issue when you removed some improvement templates from the article a few times and when you removed the AfD template from the top of the article. It also seems that some of the content you added isn't what some call "encyclopedic", which to me, basically means neutral, fact-based, non-opinions.

As for the deletion discussion, the issues that's being discussed is the notability of the subject, CK Morgan. When I say "notability", I'm referring to WP:NOTABILITY, a guideline created and used by Wikipedia editors to determine what subjects will be covered by this encyclopedia. At least one other editor feels that CK Morgan is not notable and have opened 7+ day discussion to discuss CK Morgan's notability with respects to WP:NOTABILITY.

At this point, if you want to continue editing Wikipedia, we're going to need to go over a few policies and guidelines so that you don't continue to break them. There are hundreds of policies and guidelines and no one expects new editors to understand them all. Even though you've ignored a few template warnings, if you're willing to learn these policies and guidelines and do your best not to break them, you won't have problems moving forward. If you ignore this message and continue to break various policies and guidelines, you will most likely be blocked or banned from editing Wikipedia.

If you'd like to discuss this further, you can do so here or on my talk page. OlYeller21Talktome 16:09, 4 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]

I'd like to note here that I attempted to help you a week ago. You've completely ignored this message and seem to be, for some reason, surprised that you've gotten nowhere with the deletion discussion.
If you want my help, you'll need to slow down and take a few minutes to understand how things work here at Wikipedia. When I say, "how things work" I'm referring to our policies and guidelines that I've explained above.
If you continue to ignore anything that's been said to you - and I'd like to stress at this point that you've ignored all help that people have tried to give you - you will be blocked or banned from editing Wikipedia (let alone any articles about CK Morgan).
I'd also like to remind you that if you are CK Morgan's publicist, your actions here are public and can be read by anyone for an indefinite amount of time. OlYeller21Talktome 17:51, 12 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]

AfD notice[edit]

Please do not remove AfD tags from articles while the deletion discussion is underway. You also removed all the maintenance tags, despite the most serious issue, which is the sources, not being resolved. Please do not remove maintenance tags unless the issues dealt with in the tags is resolved. Coretheapple (talk) 15:18, 6 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Stop icon This is your last warning. The next time you remove an Articles for deletion notice or a comment from an AfD discussion, you may be blocked from editing without further notice. ES&L 12:19, 12 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Your recent edits[edit]

Information icon Hello and welcome to Wikipedia. When you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion (but never when editing articles), please be sure to sign your posts. There are two ways to do this. Either:

  1. Add four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment; or
  2. With the cursor positioned at the end of your comment, click on the signature button ( or ) located above the edit window.

This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is necessary to allow other editors to easily see who wrote what and when.

Thank you. --SineBot (talk) 12:29, 12 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Please log in and post at the bottom of the CK Morgan AfD page[edit]

You've been repeatedly and politely asked to not post when not logged-in and not post comments at the top of the Articles for Deletion page, as you did here for the umpteenth time. I realize that your only purpose in being on Wikipedia is to advance the interests of this one person, and that you have no other reason for being here. But you have been here long enough, and have been asked enough, that you can comply with these two simple requests. Coretheapple (talk) 18:10, 18 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]

[1] I guess that when it comes to Wikipedia policies, whether it's sourcing, COI, notability, or even something as simple as posting on the bottom of the page, you just don't want to do it. Well, why should you? You're just here to promote CK Morgan. Coretheapple (talk) 19:34, 18 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Blocked for sockpuppetry[edit]

Sockpuppet investigation[edit]

Hi. An editor has opened an investigation into sockpuppetry by you. Sockpuppetry is the use of more than one Wikipedia account in a manner that contravenes community policy. The investigation is being held at Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/Barbarajohnson1, where the editor who opened the investigation has presented their evidence. Please make sure you make yourself familiar with the guide to responding to investigations, and then feel free to offer your own evidence or to submit comments that you wish to be considered by the Wikipedia administrator who decides the result of the investigation. If you have been using multiple accounts (in a manner contrary to Wikipedia policy), please go to the investigation page and verify that now. Leniency is usually shown to those who promise not to do so again, or who did so unwittingly, but the abuse of multiple accounts is taken very seriously by the Wikipedia community.
