warning/Discretionary sanctions[edit]

Hi, You've been active on the UN Watch page recently. Unfortunately I cannot agree that your edits have been done in good faith, for example in this recent [revert] you claim to have explained your actions on Talk, however you have not. You have also not responded to questions raised concerning the verifiability of the text you insist on repeatedly re-introducing. Please read through the discretionary sanctions linked [here]. Wikipedia is a collaborative effort, where content is generated co-operatively with other editors. That requires honesty and a willingness to work with others. Please consider this a warning pursuant to the Wikipedia:Requests for arbitration/Palestine-Israel articles Kind regards, --Dailycare (talk) 17:00, 12 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on UN Watch. Note that the three-revert rule prohibits making more than three reversions on a single page within a 24-hour period. Additionally, users who perform several reversions in content disputes may be blocked for edit warring even if they do not technically violate the three-revert rule. When in dispute with another editor you should first try to discuss controversial changes to work towards wording and content that gains a consensus among editors. Should that prove unsuccessful, you are encouraged to seek dispute resolution, and in some cases it may be appropriate to request page protection. Please stop the disruption, otherwise you may be blocked from editing.

Try to list out each of the individual changes you are seeking on the talk page and gain a consensus for your changes there first.

Restriction on UN Watch and Israel Palestine articles[edit]

As you have been previous warned, but not improved your behavior, I am placing you on an editing restriction. You may not revert any edit to the UN Watch article (blatant vandalism excepted) and may only make one revert per day on all Israel-Palestine articles, broadly construed. If you fail to heed this, any sysop may block you appropriately. Please contact me if you have any questions. NW (Talk) 21:46, 17 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]
