A tag has been placed on Bedrocan, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article seems to be blatant advertising which only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become an encyclopedia article. Please read the general criteria for speedy deletion, particularly item 11, as well as the guidelines on spam.

In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. On many keyboards, the tilde is entered by holding the Shift key, and pressing the key with the tilde pictured. You may also click on the signature button 
located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your name and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. Thank you! - CobaltBlueTony 21:16, 3 October 2007 (UTC)

Another contributor has marked the page for speedy deletion as obvious promotional, and I have complied with the request since the page consisted of little more than marketing. Even if the article were re-written, it might not be appropriate for Wikipedia; please see the notability guidelines for companies and other organizations, including their products. - These instructions are only for convenience of administrators; they are not official policy. A talk page of an article that has been deleted is a candidate for speedy deletion as well, unless there is a good reason to preserve the discussion. (If you want me to, I may recover the text and put it on your talk page.) - I see; you aren't a representative of a company selling the medicine, but rather a patient who had it prescribed. I am afraid this makes little difference. Cannabis as a medicine (and its legal status in different countries, etc.) is an appropriate topic for an encyclopedia; indeed, we already have the article medical cannabis. One company's product containing/derived from cannabis (especially when the article includes its price, legal and medical advice to users, etc.) generally isn't; at least, not unless the product has attracted significant third-party coverage. Of course, you can get a personal website and use it to publish information about the medicine and even post a notice that "this information is in public domain and may be freely used and re-used by others", if this is your intention and you are actually in a position to do that, i.e. you wrote the text yourself and didn't copy it from the company materials. (Note: Wikipedia content generally isn't in public domain, but rather GFDL-licensed.)
There's little point in recovering the talk page contents; you already reposted them on my talk page. If you want me to, I may instead recover the deleted article and e-mail it to you, so that you can post it on your website or find an alternative outlet for it (if you didn't save the text). (does yours still work BTW?: I've got one printed in Dublin, Ireland in 2004 - valid thru til 2014; however, I can use that to travel to Brussels or to anywhere in the EU incl EEA Ice-, Nor-, Switzer-land ... those countries do not intend to arrest me.
Ireland, where my passport was printed, will arrest me if I attempt to travel there. Thanks for clearing up my talk page: whoever did it , thank you. I am very busy now dealing with the fact that the State Broadcaster in the Irish Republic will not allow me on their broadcasts. The debate that took place week, with "all of the candidates in the North-West" ... excluded one. When I telephoned, I was told that I was "not in the local area" and as such, was "not going in the broadcast" .... and my attorney is ... "on his holidays"..
for god's sake! this is the European Union and the European Parliament elections! how can a legally nominated person be kept from the airwaves... ? I appreciate your requirement for diligence in article writing here on Wikipedia: however, if there is a specific letter, evidence or whatever that you wish to see before proceeding to remove the notice and invitation for removal : then I would gladly scan that and post it.... I have boxes of legal paperwork from all of the matters (as a citizen) that I have dealt with over the years (and without pay!) ...

Conflict of Interest[edit]
Barentsz, if you are indeed Noel McCullagh, then you need to review our policy on conflict of interest and, more importantly, autobiographies. That being said, you need to stop making edits to the article Noel McCullagh. Any contributions you make to your own article, or to those with a potential conflict of interest, must be discussed on the talk page prior to implementation. Hi Noel,
I am reposting this exchange from the talk page of your article here. As I type here, I realise that to call someone a "stalker" as you do is a very serious allegation. Tell me, how is editing material on an online encyclopaedia which is explicitly one "that anyone can edit" stalking? It is another example of your abusive approach to those who have made edits to your page that you do not like.

Why did you delete the article from the Wall Street Journal ? And why is the version you've reverted to solely based on an Irish Independent article from two years ago? Do you think it is easy for me to get information out there, when there are those like you (nameless) who "dont want to hear it"?
It goes to show the total ridiculousness of Wikipedia... the Wall Street Journal make a mistake : they correct it an publish corrections.
Wiki-nameless-person -- someone who leaves personalised commentary to offend the subject even further on a very personal basis (even as though I know you or did at some stage years ago) --on the other hand -- makes mistakes and then adds threats to anyone or anything who tries to question them or ammend them....

I have never met you. I am simply infuriated by your blatant attempts to use Wikipedia and to supress edits and information that do not suit the particular viewpoint you have. I actually have sympathy for your predicament and feel you should be allowed enter Ireland freely. But you are allowed enter Ireland freely, aren't you Noel? You have in 2008 and 2009, as evinced by your own blog. And yet on this page, and all over the internet, you trumpeted your "exile" status. Your reaction to the information about your visits being revealed was to try and shut down the page.

Noel it's this sense of you using Wikipedia for your own ends and getting upset when you don't get your own way that annoys. There have been good edits of this page that have simply presented your case and the situation you are in - which is much more effective in putting your own case than all these rambling edits in pseudolegalese that often simply doesn't make sense, or the errors the Wall Street Journal made in the article were one of the great journalistic scandals of the age (one which you had the great magnaminity not to sue them for) or the weird euphemisms you seem compelled to resort you to conceal or minimise the fact that what you have been prescribed is medicinal cannbis, or edits claiming that you are a historian, or single handedly saved the Special Olympics, or whatnot. Then there's your wilful disdain for such principles of Wikipedia as not using original research, trying to write articles in language reflecting a neutral point of view, the subjects of articles not editing them as well (in general), and sundry others. Your reaction whenever these are pointed out is, once again, to petulantly respond that you don't have time for all this kind of thing.
Well I'm sorry but there is a reason those principles are there in Wikipedia. As someone who has indeed produced a thesis, you must surely be aware of the rationale for them. They are not really so onerous, are they? Like I said, a page that simply stated the facts of what has happened to you and the Irish Governments official response, and had a couple of links to reliable secondary sources (such as the ones you do have!) and didn't indulge in all the other stuff.
You seem to see all edits that do not reflect EXACTLY what you want as abusive of you, as denigrating your illness, of denigrating yourself as a person. Well I am sorry that is not that case. Your wikipedia page, as it stood when edited solely by you, made very little sense. It benefited considerably from being tidied up.
Finally, to echo what Martin451 said, Wikipedians do not like to see Wikipedia being used, or manipulated. They also do not like to be made feel uncomfortable when they edit articles. As I said, I have never met you, have no axe to grind against you, and in fact feel considerable sympathy with your cause. But your habit of reacting in an abusive fashion to even minor edits that do not reflect what YOU want this page to be - coupled with your attention to detail in storing and publicising almost every document you seem to have - makes me uncomfortable editing your page. I am a Wikipedian with a Username but have never felt comfortable logging in with to edit your articles. You have accused people who have edited your page of ringing you in the middle of the night, have called them "Anthony", have claimed they are family members who are in denial about your diagnosis, and have generally acted in an extremely emotive way when faced with edits.
