I notice that one of the first articles you created was Barry mowles, which appears to be an article about yourself. This is a common mistake made by new Wikipedians—as this is an encyclopedia, we wouldn't expect to have an article about every contributor. March 2012[edit]

Please do not write an article about yourself. Creating an autobiography is strongly discouraged – see our guideline on writing autobiographies. If you create such an article, it may be deleted. If what you have done in life is genuinely notable and can be verified according to our policy for articles about living people, someone else will probably create an article about you sooner or later (see Wikipedians with articles). Please understand that this is an encyclopedia and not a personal web space or social networking site. Proposed deletion of Barry mowles[edit]

The article Barry mowles has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Autobiographical article for a self-published poet of questionable notability. Google news search on "Barry Mowles" poet shows zero results. Standard search on the same shows only 117 unique results - plenty of primary and unreliable sources (most from the author in one form or another), plus sales/simple directory links, but no significant coverage found from independent reliable sources.

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. as follow-up, please don't recruit others to remove deletion tags for you, or create further accounts to do so yourself.
Regarding your articles, I'm not sure if you have followed some of the links that were left for you above. For a topic to covered in Wikipedia it has to pass rather strict criteria. These criteria were established after long discussions, and are supported by the community. For articles on people, the person must have received significant coverage in reliable secondary sources that are independent of the subject (see WP:PEOPLE for detailed information). If you can show that for a person then Wikipedia should have and wants to have an article on them, otherwise the article will have to be deleted, which is what happened here.
