Citing

I have answered you in the TBI page: Your help is most welcomed. However since I see you are a new user you my find useful the following guidelines on writting medical articles at wikipedia: Wikipedia:Manual of Style (medicine-related articles) and Wikipedia:Reliable sources (medicine-related articles). If you have any doubts feel free to ask me or any other at the medicine project. Best regards and happy editing.--Garrondo (talk) 12:29, 7 January 2009 (UTC)

Ooo, good linkage. Thanks! Basie (talk) 20:42, 7 January 2009 (UTC)

Welcome from me, too. I noticed you're already straight to work at traumatic brain injury, so I'm glad to see you're not struggling (at least I hope not). —Cyclonenim (talk · contribs · email) 18:02, 8 January 2009 (UTC)
Yep, I may suffer some sort of disastrous neurological event myself though after another marathon like yesterday. This stuff is addictive! Cheers, Basie (talk) 19:21, 8 January 2009 (UTC)

Your question

Hi! I answered your question on my talk page (hopefully). I'm excited to be working with you, definitely let me know if you need anything! Peace, delldot ∇. 14:23, 8 January 2009 (UTC)

WikiProject Nursing

Hi Basie,

I'd be happy if you were able to bring some life back into WikiProject Nursing. I have a suggestion: Small WikiProjects (and task forces) live or die according to their perceived activity level. If you want WP Nursing to thrive, then keeping up a reasonable level of chatter on its talk page will help. It doesn't have to be a lot; just one note every now and again is probably sufficient. Just posting the name of the article you're working on, asking a question about something that a lurker might know (e.g., licensing requirements in another country or a Wikipedia technical question), or wishing people a happy Nurse Appreciation Week, or whatever you feel like, will work. Be sure to respond to any questions that are asked. You just want to give people a sense that someone is home, and that she's friendly.

If you're the only active member for a long while, I realize that this might seem like a long slog, but I think it's your best chance at keeping the project in people's minds. Good luck, WhatamIdoing (talk) 03:17, 13 January 2009 (UTC)

Or even if he's friendly! ;) Yes, I'll do my best to keep that page flowing. There's an awful lot of potential editors out there. I was sort of giving the nursing articles a grace period, especially with so many editors likely to be holidaying, before I jumped in with both feet... Basie (talk) 03:42, 13 January 2009 (UTC)

Prod

Thanks for your help with WPMED's notability problem! Are you familiar with the proposed deletion process? It's faster and simpler than AfD if there are no objections to an article being deleted. WhatamIdoing (talk) 03:32, 13 January 2009 (UTC)

Yes, although as a relatively inexperienced editor I was reluctant to use it until I had a handle on what needed deleting! I'll try it on similar articles to those previously proposed. Cheers, Basie (talk) 03:39, 13 January 2009 (UTC)
How's this one? Virtual_Database_EMR Basie (talk) 03:54, 13 January 2009 (UTC)
Looks good to me! Prods sit for five days to see whether any editor contests them. If it's contested, the prod template will be deleted. Then an admin checks it over and either deletes it or contests it. If necessary (and usually it's not), we can always try AfD later. WhatamIdoing (talk) 04:17, 13 January 2009 (UTC)

Arterial blood gas merger

Thanks for offering to help! There's quite a lot of material in Arterial blood gas sampling and I'm glad to have another pair of eyes to make sure I catch everything that should be merged. Here's what I found to be the useful pieces of that article, broken down by section:

Do you agree with those choices and is there anything else from Arterial blood gas sampling you think is useful? I really appreciate your feedback! : twirligigLeave one! ⋄ Check me out! 02:02, 14 January 2009 (UTC)

G'day Twirligig!
  • Purpose and indications: the note on pulse oximetry is clinical advice, and not really relevant. The bulleted list of conditions that ABG can 'guide therapy' of is a bit silly, as ABG could 'guide therapy' of just about any illness. Agree with your solution.
  • Abnormalities of gas exchange: interesting the article mentions oxygenation as "the first step", it's just about the last thing I look at! Mentions permissive hypercarbia, which is good: alternate term outside the US, permissive hypercapnoea (hypercapnea, hypercapnia). That is a major theme of ABG interpretation, particularly in the ICU setting, and might be worth hanging on to in the article. The mention of "accidental disconnection of the breathing circuit" is patently ridiculous, no-one would ever need an ABG to pick that up. The sentence: A high CO2 level is always associated with hypoxia unless the patient is on oxygen supplementation is dubious: one exception off the top of my head is chronic compensated respiratory acidosis.
  • Puncture sites:The statements in this section are a bit silly, particularly about the paediatric population. I was going to use another word in place of 'silly', but elected not to :) The femoral site is extremely common in infants, and sometimes in older children if the radial has been hard to cannulate. Brachial is less common but still used. Hell, we'll use an axillary site if we have to! Also, for arterial lines it may be worth mentioning umbilical artery catheters (UAC) which are often used in neonatal intensive care. The bit about collateral circulation is essentially correct though.
My favourite sentence from the whole article? "The proposed reason for the use of local anesthetic is: To avoid pain". Well, duh! :) Cheers, Basie (talk) 04:19, 14 January 2009 (UTC)
And it's only the "proposed" reason - apparently no one has proven that an anaesthetic is used to avoid pain! LOL. Merge is finished; thanks for your help! twirligigLeave one! ⋄ Check me out! 20:52, 18 January 2009 (UTC)
Nice one! I jumped in and, er, savaged the lead section. Maybe you can tell me if I went too far! Cheers, Basie (talk) 21:31, 18 January 2009 (UTC)
THANK YOU!

I just wanted to say thanks to both of you for boldly dealing with the how-to mess at Aterial blood gas sampling. WhatamIdoing (talk) 21:56, 19 January 2009 (UTC)

You're welcome, although Twirligig did most of it... I just hung around the edges and made blah-blah noises ;) Cheers, Basie (talk) 22:18, 19 January 2009 (UTC)

Republic of Ireland

No worries. It really wasn't a gaffe at all - the Irish constitution calls the state Ireland, so the original title was not wrong, but I just thought that the new title made it a little bit clearer that it wasn't talking about the whole island. Jll (talk) 12:29, 14 January 2009 (UTC)

Congratulations

Nursing Shortage

This article is very incomplete and does not address the issues. In addition it makes comments that are either untrue or woefully biased e.g foreign recruiting Craig Clayton (talk) 00:43, 20 January 2009 (UTC)

G'day Craig. I quite agree! In fact, many of the nursing articles are badly in need of a rewrite. Want to help? :) Cheers, Basie (talk) 02:14, 20 January 2009 (UTC)

heads up

i believe your most recent checkuser was added to an already archived page, so i'm not sure if they will get to see it. Theserialcomma (talk) 23:41, 21 January 2009 (UTC)

Thanks! I'm actually a bit confused about what to do when a case gets archived and new socks start causing difficulty. I clicked the link on the archive page, and it created a new section which was apparently the wrong thing to do. The user is very active and determined to cause trouble; should I start a new case? Cheers, Basie (talk) 23:44, 21 January 2009 (UTC)
Admin stepped in, fortunately. Thanks for your help. Cheers, Basie (talk) 00:11, 22 January 2009 (UTC)

Article assessment

There's a script that reduces some of the repetitive stress aspects of WikiProject assessments. It's a bit complicated, so send me e-mail if you're interested in hearing more about it. WhatamIdoing (talk) 01:13, 26 January 2009 (UTC)

Hello

Hello Not to be stickler in your side, I appreciate the work you are doing overall, but I am feel worried about your speed in redirecting http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/University_of_Maryland_School_of_Nursing_Living_History_Museum so quickly. Would you be willing to slowdown a bit ? Peace, rkmlai (talk) 01:53, 28 January 2009 (UTC)

Hi mate. I didn't redirect anything, I prodded it. Might be a good idea to check the article history... first I heard of a redirect was when you told me about it. :) Cheers, Basie (talk) 03:47, 28 January 2009 (UTC)
Hello, yes I saw the redirect after I posted my request to you. For clarity, both for you and me, I was not criticizing you or blaming that you moved too fast, but expressing my desire for a slower pace of negotiation and process in deleting, or proposing deletion of, articles. I feel that I am an inclusionist and perhaps hold on to things too long myself. As you can see by my wikipedia user page I tend to build articles rather than delete. I would be excited about building up articles with you, in the spirit of collaboration. Peace, rkmlai (talk) 06:42, 28 January 2009 (UTC)
I think every article should be judged on its own merits. The above stub was never going to make a good article by itself, and I think the admin that merged it made a very good decision. Perhaps a rapid one, about fifteen minutes after I posted the prod and went to bed!
The thing is, the nursing articles are in pretty sad shape. The project has been dormant for some time and badly needs cleaning up. I've only just begun to scratch the surface, but already I see the scale of the job; it's not small. The prod process, as I see it, lets us spend more time on the core WP:NURSE articles and less on valiantly trying to rescue something that probably isn't worth the effort. What I want to do is:
  • get all articles (or as many as possible) classified and prioritised, in which process we can get a sense of what's out there and what needs doing
  • complete the most obvious prods, merges, and redirects
  • review and update the project pages
  • move on to improving the core articles such as Nurse, Nursing and the subspecialties.
So at the moment I'm making lots of edits which might seem to lack consultation, but I would expect this pace to slow as I finish points one and two. In the meantime, I think I've gone overboard in documenting exactly what steps I'm taking, providing detailed edit summaries and reinforcing that I'm happy to discuss changes. So far, only two people have taken me up on that which I think shows just how little attention has been paid to this important area of the wiki!
While we're at it, can you clarify Wikipedia_talk:WikiProject_Nursing#Please_archive_stuff_that_you_remove as I'm not completely sure what you want me to do (beyond archiving the project talk page, which I set up awhile back). Basie (talk) 11:14, 28 January 2009 (UTC)
Hey, Thanks for responding and clarifying your position and approach. I have been feeling busy irl studying and doing other irl stuff, so I appreciate your patience, your patience in working on the wikipedia stuff (archiving and documenting what you have done and intend to do), and your sense of contribution to this very large project.
In regards to the "Archiving", I have not been able to find the archive link to find what you moved, so I posted my question. I am hearing that you did do an auto-archive but where is it ?
I agree that the uofmaryland merge was a good decision, but kinda rapid for me (15min). I was checking on what happened via the article history and was surprised by the rapidity of movement.
Anyways, Geography calls, so I must get back to studying. Peace and appreciation for your contributions. rkmlai (talk) 21:58, 28 January 2009 (UTC)
Rather you than me! The only thing I know about geography is that I don't know very much :)
I may have been too subtle with the archive links. If you look at the header at the top of Wikipedia_talk:WikiProject_Nursing there are links to the archive index and the first archive page. I was sort of emulating WP:MED's header at the time, which is what made me decide to include the links there. Cheers, Basie (talk) 23:31, 28 January 2009 (UTC)
Excellent. Please feel free to archive or delete this discussion. Peace, rkmlai (talk) 00:24, 29 January 2009 (UTC)

Hello Bassie, I am looking at this article and have added an idea on the talk page to enlarge it's scope to 'Caregiving and degenerative conditions', but had no responses yet. I see you have graded it as low importance, but believe it may warrant a higher importance - the transition from family care to part-time care to full care is one of high stress for family and carers alike, but then again I don't know how the nursing articles are categorized. I would welcome your opinion on the article title / scope, many thanks L∴V 23:42, 16 April 2009 (UTC)

Spotlight - Simplified article translation

Wikiproject Medicine started translating simplified articles in February 2014. We now have 45 simplified articles ready for translation, of which the first on African trypanosomiasis or sleeping sickness has been translated into 46 out of ~100 languages. This list does not include the 33 additional articles that are available in both full and simple versions.

Our goal is to eventually translate 1,000 simplified articles. This includes:

We are looking for subject area leads to both create articles and recruit further editors. We need people with basic medical knowledge who are willing to help out. This includes to write, translate and especially integrate medical articles.

What's happening?

I've (CFCF) taken on the role of community organizer for this project, and will be working with this until December. The goals and timeline can be found here, and are focused on getting the project on a firm footing and to enable me to work near full-time over the summer, and part-time during the rest of the year. This means I will be available for questions and ideas, and you can best reach me by mail or on my talk page.

Wikimania 2014

For those going to London in a month's time (or those already nearby) there will be at least one event for all medical editors, on Thursday August 7th. See the event page, which also summarizes medicine-related presentations in the main conference. Please pass the word on to your local medical editors.

Integration progress

There has previously been some resistance against translation into certain languages with strong Wikipedia presence, such as Dutch, Polish, and Swedish.
What was found is that thre is hardly any negative opinion about the the project itself; and any such critique has focused on the ways that articles have being integrated. For an article to be usefully translated into a target-Wiki it needs to be properly Wiki-linked, carry proper citations and use the formatting of the chosen target language as well as being properly proof-read. Certain large Wikis such as the Polish and Dutch Wikis have strong traditions of medical content, with their own editorial system, own templates and different ideas about what constitutes a good medical article. For example, there are not MEDRS (Polish,German,Romanian,Persian) guidelines present on other Wikis, and some Wikis have a stronger background of country-specific content.

  • Swedish
Translation into Swedish has been difficult in part because of the amount of free, high quality sources out there already: patient info, for professionals. The same can be said for English, but has really given us all the more reason to try and create an unbiased and free encyclopedia of medical content. We want Wikipedia to act as an alternative to commercial sources, and preferably a really good one at that.
Through extensive collaborative work and by respecting links and Sweden specific content the last unintegrated Swedish translation went live in May.
  • Dutch
Dutch translation carries with it special difficulties, in part due to the premises in which the Dutch Wikipedia is built upon. There is great respect for what previous editors have created, and deleting or replacing old content can be frowned upon. In spite of this there are success stories: Anafylaxie.
  • Polish
Translation and integration into Polish also comes with its own unique set of challenges. The Polish Wikipedia has long been independent and works very hard to create high quality contentfor Polish audience. Previous translation trouble has lead to use of unique templates with unique formatting, not least among citations. Add to this that the Polish Wikipedia does not allow template redirects and a large body of work is required for each article.
(This is somewhat alleviated by a commissioned Template bot - to be released). - List of articles for integration
  • Arabic
The Arabic Wikipedia community has been informed of the efforts to integrate content through both the general talk-page as well as through one of the major Arabic Wikipedia facebook-groups: مجتمع ويكيبيديا العربي, something that has been heralded with great enthusiasm.
Integration guides

Integration is the next step after any translation. Despite this it is by no means trivial, and it comes with its own hardships and challenges. Previously each new integrator has needed to dive into the fray with little help from previous integrations. Therefore we are creating guides for specific Wikis that make integration simple and straightforward, with guides for specific languages, and for integrating on small Wikis.

Instructions on how to integrate an article may be found here [3]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Arab Health, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Conference. Thank you on behalf of Brock nursing students

Thank you Basie, for your editorial suggestions, support, and contribution to my students' learning in NUSC1P10. I really appreciate it and I've heard that the students were really pleased to have someone outside the course comment on their work. --LynnMcCleary (talk) 23:08, 15 November 2014 (UTC)

You're very welcome LynnMcCleary. I hope I've been encouraging, despite the inevitable fact that much of what they contributed won't look that way in a few weeks! It's far more important they have a good first experience here than achieve perfection on the first go. Cheers, Basie (talk) 20:12, 16 November 2014 (UTC)

Describing it as an anachronism is a bit strong. It's still the normal title for a female charge nurse in British hospitals, for instance. To the extent that most people would still describe a charge nurse as a "male sister"! I've restored the categories. Just because you obviously don't like the term doesn't mean it's not relevant. -- Necrothesp (talk) 13:56, 12 November 2014 (UTC)

I like the term fine, it's part of our history. However, objectively it is something of an anachronism. It rarely if ever appears in nursing literature, and my UK-trained colleagues seldom use it save ironically. Still, if you feel strongly about it remaining in the category it certainly won't do any harm. Cheers, Basie (talk) 18:26, 12 November 2014 (UTC)
I think if you visit a British hospital you'll find it's still used routinely. -- Necrothesp (talk) 14:01, 19 November 2014 (UTC)

Good work on this article so far. I know that we're in the process of moving a lot of things and I don't want to interfere with your plan, but if there's something specific I can work on, just let me know. EricEnfermero HOWDY! 02:39, 29 November 2014 (UTC)

Thanks! Honestly my plan ain't complex. I'm just doing a first pass through the article repairing or improving refs, copy editing and moving content to other articles where I think it'll work. It's going to be a long process but I'd love to see Nursing get to FA eventually, and maybe see a few more active nurses involved in the project. One thing that always helps is finding more/better sources, or checking what I've done and reverting where appropriate (I don't care, don't have much of an ego where that's concerned!) Marina Tchebourkina

Hello, Basie!

I wrote my article about Marina Tchebourkina on Wikipedia after having written one for Moscow Conservatory. I thougt that I could use my own work. I posted a note about copyright on the Talk:Marina Tchebourkina and sent an e-mail to permissions-en at wikimedia. I haven't had any news.

So, on November 20, I wrote an other article about Marina Tchebourkina on the Talk:Marina Tchebourkina/Temp. I would like to know if it possible to edit now this new page as a principal page of Marina Tchebourkina. Thank you. Best regards.

MFJE (talk) 11:41, 28 November 2014 (UTC)

Hi and thanks for checking. I'm going to ping Justlettersandnumbers as they have also been involved with this discussion. Now, there's a couple of things to think about. Firstly, the rewritten article does look better although I'll bow to Justlettersandnumbers' judgement on that one. Second, remember that there was some concern about you perhaps having a close connection to the subject, which I don't think you ever answered? Basically Wikipedia strongly discourages conflict of interest editing, specifically: it's a bad idea to write an article about yourself or someone closely connected to you. I note also that a new editor account Organ Recital has been created who has only edited your draft. If this account is also yours, you should read about multiple accounts on Wikipedia. Cheers, Basie (talk) 22:37, 28 November 2014 (UTC)
Thanks, Basie, for the ping. First, an apology to MFJE for the time this article has been languishing at WP:CP; that board is anyway overloaded, but a key person is (mostly) away at the moment, as (for the little it matters) am I. I'm confident that someone will look at the article soon. Meanwhile, Basie's question here is an important one. Several kinds of what we call "conflict of interest" editing are discouraged: writing about oneself; writing about someone with a personal or professional connection; and writing about someone for financial reward (as, say, an agent or manager might do). Thank you, Baisie and Justlettersandnumbers, for your reactions! I first want to tell you that there isn't any conflict of interest in this article. You can see yourselves that this article is about a great personality of classical music fully worthy of an encyclopedic article. I present facts that everyone can verify. And you can certainly remark that the references presented in this article are impressive. Marina Tchebourkina is an organist and musicologist who has a world reputation. In addition, she is working to preserve the world organ patrimony. The article about Marina Tchebourkina should have existed on Wikipedia since many years (as articles exist about Olivier Latry, Jean-Baptiste Robin, Leonid Karev, Aivars Kalējs or Sarah Baldock…). Honestly I think this article is a necessary one. (I will write the same message on the Justlettersandnumbers' talk page.) Best regards. MFJE (talk) 19:35, 10 December 2014 (UTC)
It seems clear that there should be an article: I don't think anyone will contest that on notability grounds. Can I counsel you to continue to be patient? I'm confident the new article will be reviewed soon... the copyright team just have a fair few demands on their time, and other articles are ahead of you in the queue! Cheers, Basie (talk) 02:30, 11 December 2014 (UTC)
Hi Basie! I notice that you have cancelled my corrections on this page. You know, there is a mistake at the beginning of the article: the "Moscow State Tchaikovsky Conservatory" and the "Moscow Conservatory" is the same establishment; I rectified this mistake. And the Moscow Tchaikovsky Conservatory is the establishment of higher education. I also added the names of the famous Russian, French and German professors whom Marina Tchebourkina studied with. Then, I added her scientific degrees and her main scientific works, with the references for the ones and the others. The last information is important one to understand the double competency of Marina Tchebourkina as a performer and a musicologist, and to precise the field of her qualification as a musicologist. Her scientific work about the French music, Baroque and contemporary, is fundamental. At last, I added the new reference (of December, 2014) for Marina Tchebourkina's collaboration with the Moscow Conservatory. Don't you think these corrections are useful? New Challenge for Oceania and Australia

Hi, Wikipedia:WikiProject Oceania/The 10,000 Challenge and Wikipedia:WikiProject Australia/The 5000 Challenge are up and running based on Wikipedia:The 10,000 Challenge which has currently produced over 2300 article improvements and creations. The Australia challenge would feed into the wider region one and potentially New Zealand could have a smaller challenge too. The main goal is content improvement, tackling stale old stubs and important content and improving sourcing/making more consistent but new articles are also welcome if sourced. I understand that this is a big goal for regular editors, especially being summertime where you are, but if you'd like to see large scale quality improvements happening for Oceania and Australia like The Africa Destubathon, which has produced over 1700 articles in 5 weeks, sign up on the page. The idea will be an ongoing national editathon/challenge for the region but fuelled by a series of contests to really get articles on every province and subject mass improved. The Africa contest scaled worldwide would naturally provide great benefits to Oceania countries, particularly Australia and attract new editors. I would like some support from existing editors here to get the Challenges off to a start with some articles to make doing a Destubathon worthwhile and potentially bring about hundreds of improvements in a few weeks through a contest! Cheers.♦ --MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 02:12, 24 November 2016 (UTC)

Hi. We're into the last five days of the Women in Red World Contest. There's a new bonus prize of $200 worth of books of your choice to win for creating the most new women biographies between 0:00 on the 26th and 23:59 on 30th November. If you've been contributing to the contest, thank you for your support, we've produced over 2000 articles. If you haven't contributed yet, we would appreciate you taking the time to add entries to our articles achievements list by the end of the month. Thank you, and if participating, good luck with the finale!

Natives Éditions

Hi Basie! I would like to ask you for some advice. Recently, I have contributed for the page Natives (Éditions), but it was deleted a few days ago. Maybe, Natives Éditions is not a huge company, but it is a very serious publisher and a really original music label. Do you think it is possible to do something in order to restore this page? The link is here: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Articles_for_deletion/Natives_(Éditions)

Thank you in advance for your advice! 1996Paris (talk) 16:43, 26 February 2018 (UTC)

Biased Much?

"conspiracy theorists have fraudulently attempted to exploit the quotation 'as evidence she led a calculated effort to reduce the black population against their will'" is WP:NPOV? Wikipedia's liberal bias is so obvious it hurts. — Preceding unsigned comment added by CookieMonster788 (talkcontribs) 04:44, 25 May 2018 (UTC)

It's certainly more so than "In her mind, the entire African-American population was feeble minded and deserved to be killed" in my opinion. If you can bring a less biased historical reference than a right to life website, perhaps this would give your claim more weight? Basie (talk) 07:04, 25 May 2018 (UTC)

Request on 11:32:44, 9 July 2018 for assistance on AfC submission by Allthegoodonesaregone

Hello. I've looked over the reliable sources page linked in your review and all of this Peter Mahon's work seems to fit the bill: peer-reviewed academic publications (books and papers) on a variety of subjects, all of which can be found in the reliable third-party databases: Google Scholar, Project Muse, etc., etc.

I'm not sure what else is required.

Please advise.

Allthegoodonesaregone (talk) 11:32, 9 July 2018 (UTC)

Hello Allthegoodonesaregone, sorry for the delay in replying. The sources on that draft are mostly primary (written by or interviewing the subject), book reviews in non-notable publications, or passing mentions. The trick with establishing notability is that coverage should be significant, reliable, and in an independent source. I realise this isn't always easy. Cheers, Basie (talk) 08:39, 16 July 2018 (UTC)

SeeAbility page

Hello,

Thank you for your comments on the article I tried to put up on SeeAbility. I'm not sure how to request the Royal School for the Indigent Blind changes its name to SeeAbility. I tried googling, and found that I may not have made enough edits to get that authority. Could you request the move to SeeAbility, then I could move the text over into the new page.

Thanks for your help. — Preceding unsigned comment added by NickAshyrs (talkcontribs) 09:43, 10 July 2018 (UTC)

NickAshyrs, sorry for the delay in getting back to you. I will propose moving the page and see if we can get a consensus. Cheers, Basie (talk) 08:32, 16 July 2018 (UTC)
I have proposed the move here. I'd expect discussion to be fairly light, but if you want to support the move you can edit that section and add something like the following:
*'''Support'''. Say who you are and why you support the move. Sign with ~~~~

Disambiguation link notification for July 17

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Felix Semper, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page New York (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

Thank you for reviewing my article on Rabbi Steve Leder. I believe that I've made the edits that you suggested. I've resubmitted the article. Please advise me if my edits are in compliance with your request. Thank you.

EllenSheehy (talk) 00:38, 5 August 2018 (UTC)

Basie. I removed and/or restated the sections that you recommended. It's been about 7 weeks since I first submitted this article. Please advise me if there are further edits I need to do in order to have this published. Thanks for your direction. EllenSheehy (talk) 22:16, 30 August 2018 (UTC)

Hello Basie. It's been 2 months since I resubmitted my edited article for a second review, and 4 months since I first submitted this article. It still shows pending review. Notability was confirmed, so I don't believe that is the issue. I thought about changing the name of the article to Rabbi Steve Leder, but that shouldn't matter? Please advise me how or if I can do anything to expedite the review of this article. Thank you very much. EllenSheehy (talk) 15:27, 30 October 2018 (UTC)
