A tag has been placed on Above .500 Inc., requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising that only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become an acceptable page. Please read the general criteria for speedy deletion, particularly item G11, as well as the guidelines on spam.

If you can indicate why the subject of this page is not blatant advertising, . Clicking that button will take you to the talk page where you will find a pre-formatted place for you to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the page's talk page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. You are welcome to edit the page to fix this problem, but please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself. As well as removing promotional phrasing, it helps to add factual encyclopaedic information to the page, and add citations from independent reliable sources to ensure that the page will be verifiable. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. Cargeek100 (talk) 17:27, 12 July 2014 (UTC)[reply]

I'd like to apologize....[edit]

I'm sorry I have to bail out like this, but I am extremely busy with other things at the moment, and I do not think that I will have enough time to help rewrite the "Above .500" page.

Again, I apologize, and I hope you understand.

Speedy deletion nomination of Above .500 inc[edit]

A tag has been placed on Keith Wallace (rapper) requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a band or musician that does not credibly indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. Information icon

Hello Bassmfs. The nature of your edits gives the impression you have an undisclosed financial stake in promoting a topic, but you have not complied with Wikipedia's mandatory paid editing disclosure requirements. Paid advocacy is a category of conflict of interest (COI) editing that involves being compensated by a person, group, company or organization to use Wikipedia to promote their interests. Undisclosed paid advocacy is prohibited by our policies on neutral point of view and what Wikipedia is not, and is an especially serious type of COI; the Wikimedia Foundation regards it as a "black hat" practice akin to black-hat search-engine optimization.

Paid advocates are very strongly discouraged from direct article editing, and should instead propose changes on the talk page of the article in question if an article exists. If the article does not exist, paid advocates are extremely strongly discouraged from attempting to write an article at all. At best, any proposed article creation should be submitted through the articles for creation process, rather than directly.

Regardless, if you are receiving or expect to receive compensation for your edits, broadly construed, you are required by the Wikimedia Terms of Use to disclose your employer, client and affiliation. You can post such a mandatory disclosure to your user page at User:Bassmfs. The template {{Paid}} can be used for this purpose – e.g. in the form: {{paid|user=Bassmfs|employer=InsertName|client=InsertName}}. If I am mistaken – you are not being directly or indirectly compensated for your edits – please state that in response to this message. Otherwise, please provide the required disclosure. In either case, do not edit further until you answer this message. CUPIDICAE💕 14:29, 13 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, Sorry I don't use this often. But to answer your question, No, although I wish I was getting paid for this, I am not. Can you specify which particular line comes off as paid. I tried my best to just copy and slightly reword the information in the two articles listed as ref.

All of your edits. What is your connection to the subjects you've written about. This also includes having a conflict of interest and not necessarily being paid. CUPIDICAE💕 14:46, 13 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]

The connection between all the subjects would be their involvement with the non profit organization Above .500. A charity based in Miami that organizes charity events nationwide. I would love assistance writing an unbiased article for the charity as well.

I didn't ask about their connection, I asked about yours. If you have no connection, how is this your own work? CUPIDICAE💕 14:57, 13 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]

The connection between ALL of us, including me, is our involvement with the nonprofit organization. The all the photos taken at any of our events is 100% ours. Also, the edits were copied and paste from two articles written years ago, way before Keiths involvement with out charity, there is no way those articles can sound like compensation when they were written from by a news reporter years ago. His criminal history in his personal life are just facts? Should I just submit it through the articles for creation? Or are you able to kindly assist me?

Great, so please re-read my original inquiry and disclose as required by the terms of use before editing further. CUPIDICAE💕 15:08, 13 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]
