Bicentennial edits[edit]

Hello, and thank you for the South Bend painted fire hydrants mention. I summarized it and placed it under "Other". The concern was placement (you placed it above New York, Boston, Philadelphia, etc., which have major historical American Revolution heritage and held large Bicentennial celebrations), length (see WP:WEIGHT, way too long for its impact on the topic - it was about fire hydrants) and using editorial and flowery language on Wikipedia (see MOS:EDITORIAL and MOS:FLOWERY). Please be aware that wording of facts and statements on Wikipedia using Wikipedia's voice should be encyclopedic in nature. Thanks. Randy Kryn (talk) 14:37, 23 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
