How do I recover the text/code for the deleted article?

I need help on how to recover (if possible) the text of a deleted article that you submitted for deletion... My article [Glass] was deleted, and as discussed during the deletion process, several significant new sources have emerged during the discussion and several others since.

I asked the final deleting editor (twice) the same question: "how can I recover the text/code of the deleted article, so that some point in the future, once several more RS have been established, I could re-submit" --- but so far my question has been ignored twice.

Any ideas??? Thanks in advance!

WVWF

Morning, sir. If you have a moment, I could use an uninvolved administrator's eyes on WVWF. An editor keeps removing without any edit summary what is pretty straightforward verifiable content, including details of license assignments and call sign changes. There are two or three articles where he's done this at least once, but this one's the worst. Based on the user name, I believe he's the station's former owner. It's not technically a 3RR or a clear-cut CoI, but it's close enough for horseshoes. Mlaffs (talk) 12:55, 3 August 2019 (UTC)

Good Evening-

I am attempting to remove things that we do not wish to be public information such as officers of our company, transaction prices, etc. Also, there are gross pieces of information about simulcasts, sister stations, etc. This page has caused me enormous issues to iron out, including vendors reaching out to me in reference to contracts as it relates to simulcasting, etc.

All of our information that we want or desire to have public is on our websites, but that has been removed. I tried one last final time tonight to rectify it.

We would like for it to be totally removed if possible.

Thank you, Bryan K. Fowler President, Consolidated Media, LLC and Fowler Media Partners

/* WVWF */

Good Morning-

I am not certain where the communication breakdown on this is.

Purchase prices, officers names, etc are not public information.

I'm not certain who is supposed to tell you this stuff is not to be posted if it is not me?

The website is wrong.

We do not simulcast.

There is an estate involved in this.

The purchase price is wrong, even though it should not be publicized.

Why does not EVERY other radio station have this information listed?

No one else does.

This page is going to get me litigated. I need to know how to remove it.

Thank you for your cooperation.

  • (talk page watcher) @Bearcat: I see you've protected the page. While I don't understand the complexities of American radio stations, it does look as if that final paragraph to which the above user objects, mentioning purchase price, is completely unsourced, so perhaps should be removed. PamD 19:32, 5 August 2019 (UTC)
And as a further complication, the URL given for the station provides a link which Firefox warns me away from as a security risk: "Firefox detected a potential security threat and did not continue to wolfcountrylegends.com.". PamD 19:35, 5 August 2019 (UTC)
That appears to just be a minor issue with the site's security certificate; I'm well-protected by virus and pop-up blockers, so I took the "exception" risk and witnessed no actual problem once I got to the website. Bearcat (talk) 19:39, 5 August 2019 (UTC)
Based on the insistence that the reported price is wrong, I've verified it against the FCC filing. It was reported wrong at the time, and I've updated it accordingly, with the addition of the reference for both the ownership structure of the licensee and the price. You are being quoted

Hi. at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Adam Everett Livix you are being quoted here: [1] "for the purpose of showing why WP:CONTINUEDCOVERAGE is not required." and I thought that you might want to weigh in on the question of whether or not you believe that you are being cited fairly.E.M.Gregory (talk) 15:02, 7 August 2019 (UTC)

Julian Steele-Thanks & question re citation to census, etc available in Ancestry.com

Thank you for explaining that Wikipedia doesn't allow citations to Ancestry.com. Any advice about how to cite primary sources (Freedman's Bank records, Savannah lists of Free Persons of Color, etc) which are online via Ancestry.com? I tried but templates don't work so well & I had little luck figuring this out rummaging through Wikipedia rules. Appreciate advice West Newbury (talk) 17:33, 17 August 2019 (UTC)

Hi. I'm adding a production section to Bad Blood after I found this great source [2]. When Konyves talks about a "second camera" can this be considered a multiple camera setup? Vaselineeeeeeee★★★ 16:43, 21 August 2019 (UTC)

Country music category vandal from Tennessee

Over at Wikipedia:Long-term abuse/Country music category vandal from Tennessee we've had a rash of new edits lately, also a new trend of adding non–existent schools to some Tennessee communities. Secondary sources

  • When did secondary print journalism and real media coverage (while useable) became the end all, be all good sources and not primary media (official YouTube vids of Oscar ceremonies, etc.)? That's kinda discriminatory. Espngeek (talk) 19:03, 29 August 2019 (UTC)

AFD for Abbie Hodgson

Thanks for the heads up. I'd also gotten the same message from "FoxyGrandpa" and thanked him as well. I was unaware of the rule and had done so before and had seen others do so. No one had ever made note of it in my own case or that of any others, that I'd noticed. I left this message for FG:

You (and Bearcat} notified me concerned the Abbie Hodgson AfD that any editor can only vote once in an AfD. I didn't know what the rules were, had no intention of "double voting," and had only seen others do so, so didn't realize it was a problem and didn't realize that the actual numerical count made a difference. I will respond to comments in the future without voting twice. Also, I have seen others who changed their votes. I presume that is acceptable (I've never had occasion to do so) but I expect that might require going back to manually change the original vote without voting again in the opposite way. Is that the convention, or do you know? Thanks. Activist (talk) 19:03, 30 August 2019 (UTC)
I'd left you this feedback at your comment on my talk page, but neglected to post it here or to ping you on my response. So, :Thanks for the feedback. I haven't voted a heck of a lot in AfDs, may not have all for the first decade in which I'd been editing. I don't think I've ever had occasion to want to change my vote but thanks for the direction on how to best do it should the occasion arise. Thanks

- thanks for pointing out my inappropriate use of the WP:NPOSSIBLE guideline in the Maixent Poitevin AfD discussion - I think it is fair to say that if Poitevin appears in English language sources, there are likely to be more sources in French, but citing WP:NPOSSIBLE to support this position was incorrect - I couldn't publicly thank you in the discussion because it had been closed - thanks - Epinoia (talk) 15:54, 8 September 2019 (UTC)
