Userboxes[edit]

Hello, Benjy83. I saw your userpage, and per your enquiry about userboxes, I thought I'd help you out.

As you know, userboxes are coloured boxes that tell others about you, such as on my userpage. They are composed of wikicode, and there are many, many userboxes available here— if you want to browse the collection, see here. There are userboxes for just about everything! You can even make your own, just make certain they cause no offence and are friendly. If you haven't already learnt, instructions on how to make them are here. Additionally, to see newly-created boxes, see the new userboxes talk page. I hope this helps; if you've any questions, don't hesitate to contact me on my talk page! :) Cheers, --Mizu onna sango15/珊瑚15 18:53, 30 May 2008 (UTC).[reply]

Hi! It seems you recently created an unreferenced biography of a living person: Linton Kirtley. The community has decided that all new biographies of living persons must contain a reliable source that supports at least one statement made about the person in the article as per our verifiability policy. Please add references as soon as possible. Thanks! --LaraBot (talk) 00:10, 5 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on Linton Kirtley requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person or group of people, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, as well as our subject-specific notability guideline for biographies. You may also wish to consider using a Wizard to help you create articles – see the Article Wizard.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag - if no such tag exists then the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate and adding a hangon tag is unnecessary), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the page does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that they userfy the page or have a copy emailed to you. Category for Gay Wikipedians[edit]

Hello, I'm writing here to let you know that I've recently begun a discussion to review the deleted and redirected Category:Gay Wikipedians (which now points to Category:LGBT Wikipedians. instead of being it's own category) If you have the time, please add your thoughts on the deletion review to the current Discussion. Thanks! Ncboy2010 (talk) 12:48, 27 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Just a little hi there[edit]

Hi there, just thought I'd pop by and say hi. Looking to get to know other UK based gay Wikipedians such as yourself. So hi, again *waves*, lol. Sorry if this comes across as a lame message btw, still kinda new to all this! BlueStars83 (talk) 03:36, 11 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]
