Disambiguation link notification for January 3

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Chief Phil Lane Jr., you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Native American (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Response:Articles for deletion/8-4-4 Curriculum

Hi, see the response on the proposed deletion Wikipedia:Articles_for_deletion/8-4-4_Curriculum.

Regarding the orphan tag; I've already added links to this article from several other relevant pages such as Roger Christian (filmmaker) and List_of_rediscovered_films. κаллэмакс 00:13, 5 January 2013 (UTC)

Speedy deletion declined: Kaigen

Hello Bensci54, and thanks for patrolling new pages! I am just letting you know that I declined the speedy deletion of Kaigen, a page you tagged for speedy deletion, because of the following concern: The user was blocked after the page was created. If you wish to pursue deletion, consider WP:AFD. You may wish to review the Criteria for Speedy Deletion before tagging further pages. Thank you. — Mr. Stradivarius (have a chat) 01:36, 5 January 2013 (UTC)

Bot Removed Citations and Text

Hi Bensci54,

I left a message for you on the Talk page of the James Hales article. It seems a bot you created deleted citations and some of the text of the article. I asked about it at the Help desk, and they said you might need to reprogram it, so I've left everything as is so you can see exactly what the bot did, which would likely help with the reprogramming. Deletion of "Dynamic steady state universe"

hello im unable to see where "dynamic steady state universe" has been duplicated. it is not the same as "steady state"

a better name is "cellular universe" i had some trouble editing what i wrote so it does read as i would like, this is also my first attempt to post anything anywhere. my reason for doing so is: ive been unhappy with the accepted model of "big bang" its been fudged in recent years to the point where it seems full of holes. its difficult to find info on cellular theory, but it does appear in my humble opinion to be worth a mention and consideration to the standard model.

Hi Bensci54, to me, this article looks like there's nothing you can do with it, apart from starting from scratch. I'm very curious to see how you will proceed with the "cleanup". Cheers! --Randykitty (talk) 15:00, 11 January 2013 (UTC)

I have just proposed this for speedy deletion, as could be expected, this is a copyvio. --Randykitty (talk) 15:08, 11 January 2013 (UTC)

Thanks

Thanks for moving this page for me. Little sleep = sloppy errors. Sorry for the mistake! Pjthepiano (talk) 03:32, 15 January 2013 (UTC)

Nanto Seiken

Since you were the only one saying keep in the AFD for this article, I thought you might want to know it still existed where I recently backed it up at the Manga Wikia. http://manga.wikia.com/wiki/Nanto_Seiken Whenever I notice anything anime or manga related at all at AFD, I grab the full history of it to transwiki over there so nothing is lost, plus I have already grabbed the most recent histories of every manga and anime related article on Wikipedia. There are currently 13,821 articles there. Dream Focus 03:33, 18 January 2013 (UTC)

BLPPROD

Can I ask why you [http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Ali_Safwan&diff=534129924&oldid=533954867 converted[ a PROD to a BLPPROD? Not only can both be used concurrently, the article is referenced and therefore not eligible for BLPPROD... GiantSnowman 12:43, 21 January 2013 (UTC)

Well, I saw an ((unreferenced)) tag and a ((PROD)) tag on a BLP, so I turned it into a BLPPROD. I also was unaware that they could be used concurrently.Bensci54 (talk) 16:38, 21 January 2013 (UTC)

Biting

I am often accused of biting the newbies but I think simply flagging psychopsis krameriana for speedy deletion also counts as biting. — RHaworth (talk · contribs) 23:50, 21 January 2013 (UTC)

Re. Articles for Creation - Fifth Harmony

I saw that you reviewed my article for creation about Fifth Harmony, but denied it because of there being a page already about the group. But there isn't, it's a redirect to List of The X Factor finalists (U.S. season 2).

- Jjj1238 (talk) 23:46, 2 February 2013 (UTC)

Yes, this is true, but there is a section in that article covering the group, therefore it is my belief that it did not qualify for Articles for Creation acceptance. Note, that as a registered user, you may just create the article yourself, without going through AfC. You may also just edit the section in question on the List of The X Factor finalists (U.S. season 2) instead. Bensci54 (talk) 00:15, 3 February 2013 (UTC)
Oh ok, I guess I'll just create it myself, thanks :)
- Jjj1238 (talk) 16:20, 3 February 2013 (UTC)
Please note the article has previously been redirected per AFD discussion and as their notability has not changed since, the article should not be recreated at this time. Thanks :-) –anemoneprojectors– 21:36, 3 February 2013 (UTC)

Hi,

I disagree that we wouldn't want to list both the BLPPROD and regular PROD of Atsumi Tanezaki‎ on the deletion sorting list. It is normal when an article is nominated for deletion both by PROD and at AFD to list both nominations, so why wouldn't we want to list both a BLPPROD and regular PROD? I don't see any reason not to include the BLPPROD. Just because the article was nominated under another deletion process later doesn't mean it wasn't nominated the first time. If we don't mention the BLPPROD, it won't make it into the archive. I'm not sure if anyone ever uses the archive of past nominations, but I still think it is better to keep it as complete a list of past deletion nominations as possible. Thank you for your message

Thank you for the message you left about the proposed deletion of the article (which I created) on "Costing the Earth". I shall admit that I was a little reluctant to create the article myself - the only reason I did this was I saw that in the article on Alex Kirby, there was one of those horrible red wikilinks around the name of this Radio Four programme and I wished to eliminate the red wikilink! If you wish to delete, go ahead. Again, thank you very much for your message. ACEOREVIVED (talk) 10:13, 6 February 2013 (UTC)

Barry O'Connor

Alas the page has been deleted. Judging by the amount of "work" done by the vandal in question he is obviously mentally ill. 178.167.254.104 (talk) 20:00, 7 February 2013 (UTC)

List of Monster Rancher Evo Monsters

What exactly is wrong with the article? I'm very confused. ApocalypticKitten (talk) 20:55, 9 February 2013 (UTC)

It doesn't seem notable for Wikipedia. We don't need the complete bestiary of every video game out there, unless said bestiary has received significant coverage in reliable independent sources. However, if you disagree with me, go ahead and delete the proposed deletion notice, but be aware that the article may still be taken to Articles for Deletion. Bensci54 (talk) 21:01, 9 February 2013 (UTC)

I see lists like this for other games all the time... I don't understand the issue, the information wasn't listed, so I started listing it... isn't that the point?ApocalypticKitten (talk) 22:15, 13 February 2013 (UTC)

Chartnews

I've tried to clean out the references to that Twitter account. If you encounter one that I've missed, best practice is to delete the figure and the reference, not just leave the figure unsourced.—Kww(talk) 17:21, 13 February 2013 (UTC)
