Deletion of product details on VB eLabs page

Dear Bensci54,
Just querying your deletion of the products details of the page. Details about product is not promoting any thing. Content is not about selling/advertising products. It is about product's feature and purpose. Help me to understand how it should be?

  • The content that was added was not encylopedic. The way it was written seemed like it was something out of an advertisment. Content on wikipedia should present the facts and the facts only, together with reliable sources. Bensci54 (talk) 17:23, 6 January 2021 (UTC)

Thank you for reviewing the Ted Cadsby page, for which I'm seeking additional citations. If there is anything else that can be done to improve this page, your insights are most welcome! VickiZ (talk) 18:39, 25 August 2021 (UTC)

New Page Patrol newsletter September 2021

New Page Review queue September 2021

Hello Bensci54/Archives,

Please join this discussion - there is increase in the abuse of Wikipedia and its processes by POV pushers, Paid Editors, and by holders of various user rights including Autopatrolled. Even our review systems themselves at AfC and NPR have been infiltrated. The good news is that detection is improving, but the downside is that it creates the need for a huge clean up - which of course adds to backlogs.

Copyright violations are also a serious issue. Most non-regular contributors do not understand why, and most of our Reviewers are not experts on copyright law - and can't be expected to be, but there is excellent, easy-to-follow advice on COPYVIO detection here.

At the time of the last newsletter (#25, December 2020) the backlog was only just over 2,000 articles. New Page Review is an official system. It's the only firewall against the inclusion of new, improper pages.

There are currently 706 New Page Reviewers plus a further 1,080 admins, but as much as nearly 90% of the patrolling is still being done by around only the 20 or so most regular patrollers.

If you are no longer very active on Wikipedia or you no longer wish to be part of the New Page Reviewer user group, please consider asking any admin to remove you from the list. This will enable NPP to have a better overview of its performance and what improvements need to be made to the process or its software.

Various awards are due to be allocated by the end of the year and barnstars are overdue. If you would like to manage this, please let us know. Indeed, if you are interested in coordinating NPR, it does not involve much time and the tasks are described here.

M. A. Ganapathy (police officer)

Good Afternoon.

Sir,

As noticed by me, as a reviewer you made changes in my article mainspace as M. A. Ganapathy (police officer) from M A Ganapthy, IPS. Then I am again try to modify it as M A Ganapathy (Police Officer). But you are now again changed it as M. A. Ganapathy (police officer).

I request you to please change and finalize it as M A Ganapathy (Indian Police Service) (without any dot after M & A). I think sir, it will suit for the search criteria apart from the flying officer.

Like to see your suggestion and changes in article mainspace at the earliest please.--Maganapathy86 (talk) 08:46, 28 October 2021 (UTC)

  • The dots are in accordance with WP:INITS which indicates that there should be periods after initials. The "(police officer)" shouldn't be capitalized because on Wikipedia, only proper nouns are capitalized in article titles. The current format is the correct one per Wikipedia guidelines. Thank you!

Atul Kumar Sharma

Hi, can you help me save my page? please be my editor to save my page. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Aqzswxdecfrvgtb (talkcontribs) 18:08, 3 December 2021 (UTC)

  • The Wikipedia community decided in a discussion that the page you created should be deleted. The concensus was the subject was not sufficiently notable for a Wikipedia article. The article will continue to be deleted and you risk being banned if you keep reposting it. I would suggest waiting until the individual has more significant third-party coverage before attempting to make the article again. Bensci54 (talk) 17:13, 6 December 2021 (UTC)
