Speedy deletion of Plastic fuzz[edit]

A tag has been placed on Plastic fuzz requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a band, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not indicate the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, as well as our subject-specific notability guideline for musical topics.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the article's talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Image Copyright problem

Thank you for uploading Image:Plastic Fuzz Logo.jpg. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can determine the license and the source of the image. If you know this information, then you can add a copyright tag to the image description page.

If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thanks again for your cooperation. NOTE: once you correct this, please remove the tag from the image's page. STBotI (talk) 11:26, 31 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Deletion of Plastic fuzz[edit]

The article has been deleted. I you wish to re-create it according to standards I will be glad to assist you. Please post a note on my talk page for help. -JodyB talk 11:42, 31 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Here is what we can do. I can move the article, temporarily, to your userspace. That means it is out of the main wikipedia but still available to you for editing. You can then add the required sources and make some assertion that the band is notable or important. As you probably know, just being in existence means nothing. They must have attracted the attention of reliable sources. After you have worked on it, let me know and I will move it back to the mainspace. How's that? The article is moved to User:Benthatavoshky/Plastic fuzz. Let me know if there are problems or questions. - JodyB talk 17:45, 31 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Fair use rationale for Image:Plastic Fuzz Logo.jpg[edit]

Thanks for uploading or contributing to Image:Plastic Fuzz Logo.jpg. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is not a suitable explanation or rationale as to why each specific use in Wikipedia constitutes fair use. Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale.

If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. --uǝʌǝsʎʇɹnoɟʇs(st47) 13:19, 31 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]
