Removing Sourced Content From The Tom McMahon Article

Hello. Please don't remove any content from this article without a good reason. The items are sourced. In the future please keep Tom McMahon's reelection campaign where it belongs. At his campaign and not on Wikipedia. Thank You. User:74.212.1.66

First and foremost, be sure to sign your posts. Secondly, it would appear to me that it is you who is bringing the re-election battle to this site. The information may be sourced, but the information removed is clearly sensationalized to accomplish whatever goal you have set for yourself. If you post here again without signing the post it will be deleted. If you add the information back to the McMahon page after it is deleted again the proper individuals here at Wikipedia will be contacted to handle the situation. Berksguy, there is nothing political about it. The statement came directly from the source. If the source were political as you claim, the wiki administrators would naturally consider The Reading Eagle an unreliable source. Eskog stated previously that The Reading Eagle is considered a reliable source. As for your demand for positive information, by all means go to town as long as it's sourced, and another thing to point out is the objective of articles are to be neutral. If you feel that the article is out of balance then add sourced positive information about Tom McMahon, but removing sourced facts about that person to obtain balance is censorship, and negates the aspects of creating an encyclopedia if all of the facts are not allowed to be displayed. I have researched Tom McMahon and other then some political blogs out there, there is no other sourced facts about McMahon other then his temper with things like The Marvel. User:Dirtybirdy78

You say that there is nothing political about your desire to put up the information concerning the Marvel Ranch. On the McMahon talk page you question my motives, but I ask you the same thing. Is it not ironic that with an election coming up you feel the need to make McMahon sound as bad as possible on his blog. Is it not ironic that you seem upset now that someone has done the research and added positive press about him. I have no political motives, I have no ties to Mayor McMahon, and I do not even live in the City of Reading. I am although tired of people who continue to bad mouth the man when he is doing a better job than any mayor in the past decade at least. I have found sourced material about McMahon that shows the kind of mayor he really is. I am sorry you do not like that. I am also happy to see that you are the same age as another wiki user assuming that the '78 in your name refers to your year of birth. I question anonymous users. Do what you please. If you notice I have only initiated new material once or twice. I have spent a great deal of time making sure people like you and anonymous users do not deface and slander people. I have never touched Al Boscov's page. I have although continued to deal with you and others in terms of McMahon's page because you and others seem to have an ax to grind with him. Referring to you as cowardly in your behavior of removing my posts because you did not like what I said concerning your clear incorrect analogies (which can be viewed in the history of your talkpage for anyone interested in reading the posts in question) is entirely different than you referring to me and others as political hacks simply because we refuse to let you slander and make libel comments about living individuals. If you plan to post here in the future please consider not parroting comments that I make on your page. No. I am not sure where you and others have this idea. I did post a comment on the blog in question a good while back (which can not be accessed at the blog in question anymore, but can be found using Google and looking at some cached files). I am not, although, the owner, operator, or contributor to the blog. It seems the person running the place has fallen off the face of the planet. Read the website DirtyBirdy78. An individual that goes by the name of 'Got Truth' runs that site. You can see that quite clearly if you read the blog posts. I would hardly say that having made their last post in July 2006 is a sign that they are back to doing anything. As I stated previously, they appear to have fallen off of the planet and I would have to assume that they care less about Matthew and his jolly band of Berks Countians. Then your memory does not serve you well. You will note that the messages from me on the website have my moniker behind them, and the messages from Got Truth have their name behind them. No amount of repeating false information will make it correct, though you and many others believe that to be a way to make truth from lies. Re: Requesting assistance

This doesn't look like a situation with a "quick fix" - tempers on both sides of this article seem to have continued to boil. I don't think either side is quite at the point where I would issue a block for personal attacks, but you might consider a Request for Comment which would allow more outside users to give their views on the situation and try to help you all come up with a better resolution to the article and the conflict that has emerged from it. You will notice he/she actually did that twice. Once from User:72.78.27.65 as Grand Mofo Wizard just the other day and previously as from User:72.78.19.51 signing that time as "The one and only GRAND MOFO WIZARD!" You can see the history of the userpage yourself to see the IP address, but they said (and I quote) "Close enough to November to destroy you politically." I guess they will be sadly disappointed come November when they turn out being wrong. I have no political aspirations to destroy. There is no POV about this. You returned to the page using your IP address of 74.212.1.66 because you forgot to sign your post. You neglected to log in. I was simply giving yuo some friendly advice that if you plan to post and keep your IP address to yourself it is a good idea to sign in. I also stated that it appears you do quite a bit of posting anonymously, possibly even before you created your current account name for all I know. I do not see how or why this would be considered POV when all of the above is clearly factual and intended to be a friendly reminder. I can semi-protect your user page, which will at least require that this vandal log in if s/he wants to continue slandering and threatening you (not to mention totally misidentifying me!).
