Hi, I am Jike and my wiki username is Grilledrex. Would you mind that we do peer review for each other. I see that we are in same group.

Peer Review[edit]

Hi Betaprice I will be peer reviewing your article.

Summary: Coupling is a broad term used in science that refers to when two or more systems interact. Coupling in this article is physics coupling which can refer to oscillations in pendulums in classical mechanics, circuits in electronics, 2 bodied problems in astrophysics, plasma parameter in plasma physics, or hamiltonians in quantum mechanics.

Major Points: Overall the structure of this wikipedia article is very consistent with other wikipedia physics articles. Given that coupling is such a broad term in science, it makes logical sense for the article to be structured the way it is with the different subfields of physics. The article is understandable and its tone is neutral. The only comment is that the page title includes the word physics while there is a section that is titled chemistry, it would maybe be better for the chemistry section to be moved in the quantum mechanics section given that the spin-spin coupling is inherently a quantum phenomenon. Looking at the coupling (physics) wikipedia page before, it is clear that Betaprice's contribution has elevated and improved this article.

Minor Points: In the astrophysics section, the sentence "when smaller particles, such as those of dust, which are coupled together over time accumulate into much larger objects, accretion is occurring" is awkwardly phrased in particular the phrase "such as those." Additionally the grammar in this sentence is not entirely correct. Rephrasing along the lines of: accretion occurs when small particles like dust accumulate into larger objects after being coupled together. Additionally there should be a link to "Hamiltonian (quantum mechanics)" wikipedia page with the word "Hamiltonian" in the quantum mechanics section. There should be a main article or more information note on the plasma section that links to the wikipedia page of "plasma parameter." In the quantum mechanics section, the sentence of “as they are both forms of angular momentum, they must be conserved," should be combined with the previous sentence. Lastly link the wikipedia page of "fundamental interaction" with the words "fundamental force" in the second sentence in the particle physics and QFT section.
