Barnstars[edit]

If you have a problem with my barnstars, please keep in mind that there is nothing wrong with me putting barnstars on my page even though no one gave them to me. As long as I acknowledge that these barnstars are fake, I am complying with Wikipedia policy. When I state that the "following awards are surreal," I am acknowledging that those awards are bizarre and fake. Big.P 04:53, 27 October 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Welome from Sean Black[edit]

Welcome!

Hello Big.P/Archive 1, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Here are a few good links for newcomers:

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically produce your name and the date. If you have any questions, check out Wikipedia:Where to ask a question or ask me on my talk page. Again, welcome!

I think we should just out this behind this, okay? A few things: Stick to one username. You should read the following: WP:NPOV, WP:BOLD, WP:NPA, WP:CIVIL,WP:3RR, and Wikipedia:Wikiquette,. Please use edit summaries. Maybe try editing a few different articles- Do you like Star Trek or Star Wars? You could edit there. I really love Doctor Who, maybe you could edit some of those articles. Bushytails has a good article at Strap-on dildo that you might want to edit. Alright, if you have any questions, ask me or Bushy. Thanks!--Sean Black | Talk 05:00, 27 October 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Vandalism[edit]

Hi. His last few edits are borderline vandalism, and he seems to have stopped. Thanks, though In the future, you can report vandals at WP:AIAV after you warn them. Thanks again.--Sean|Black 21:45, 24 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for uploading Image:Future AT&T Wireless.png. I notice the 'image' page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is therefore unclear. If you have not created this media yourself then you need to argue that we have the right to use the media on Wikipedia (see copyright tagging below). If you have not created the media yourself then you should also specify where you found it, i.e., in most cases link to the website where you got it, and the terms of use for content from that page.

If the media also doesn't have a copyright tag then you must also add one. If you created/took the picture, audio, or video then you can use {{GFDL-self}} to release it under the GFDL. If you believe the media qualifies as fair use, please read fair use, and then use a tag such as {{Non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#Fair_use. See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.

If you have uploaded other media, please check that you have specified their source and copyright tagged them, too. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any unsourced and untagged images will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you.

I work for Cingular/AT&T, but this isnt official. And if it is done by you, it would be a copyright violation, using a corp trademark and changing it. Admrb♉ltz (T | C) 05:19, 6 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Actually the rebranding is official, it has been on Yahoo! News and Reuters today. However, I saw this picture on the net, and I am not sure where it came from, maybe it should be taken down. I don't know how to delete images off of Wikipedia, so somebody else should do it. --Big.P 05:21, 6 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]
I knwo the merger is done, but I ment the image. I can go ahead and nix it, one of the benifits of being an admin :) --Admrb♉ltz (T | C) 05:34, 6 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Reversions[edit]

Is that your IP? Sorry! Admrb♉ltz (T | C) 02:20, 7 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Haha no problem. My mistake for not logging in. -Big.P 02:21, 7 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

PS3 Delay[edit]

Please read the talk page section I made on the latest "PS3 Delay Confirmed!" article to pop up today. Sony has not officially announced a delay (1up mis-represented the article in the japanese magazine it's actually speculation). If they do they will problary do it at the PS Business conference that starts in about 6 hrs. When it's confirmed we can change the article. Untill then the latest sony official position is that they are still on track for a spring release. Seraphim 01:55, 15 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

It hasn't been 11 hours, but I know this article (http://news.yahoo.com/s/nm/20060315/tc_nm/sony_ps3_dc;_ylt=Ajc6l2arPNWLbN2x7cL8L2lk24cA;_ylu=X3oDMTA4ZnRnZjhkBHNlYwMxNjk1) suits your fancy. --Big.P 04:49, 15 March 2006 (UTC)

Note[edit]

Hello, I noticed you edited a Hip Hop related article. If you wish you can join the new Hip Hop Wikiproject. Thanks for your time. Tutmosis 22:58, 19 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]
That would be great. --βig 05:53, 22 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Vandalism[edit]

The "vandalism" you reported on my talk page was hardly "vandalism". If you check and see, the IP Address that we edit on is the same. We are on a school server. As you should have been able to tell by looking at the comments made on my page, nothing was meant by it. And as for your choice for warning me and not him, why? He has written on my page also and yet you keep silent. -- Damien Vryce

Even if "nothing was meant by it," editing a user's page other than your own is not allowed, and from what I've checked, Fatman!! never vandalized your user page. He only commented on your user talk page which is fine. If he doesn't erase anything on your user talk page, there is nothing wrong with editing it. As for the actual user page itself, no one is supposed to edit it but the user whom the page is tied to. --βig 05:38, 4 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Fine. -- Damien Vryce
"As for the actual user page itself, no one is supposed to edit it but the user whom the page is tied to" - That is incorrect. Any user may edit any other user's user page. Many users encourage sensible edits like typos - including Jimbo. Thanks, --Gary Kirk (talk) 15:54, 10 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]
What if the user deliberately put typos on her user page? Is it your jurisdiction to change it against her will? At that point, how can we tell the difference between a sensible edit and a non-sensible one? Why isn't it best to just leave the page alone? --βig 23:12, 10 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Please read WP:NOT. --Gary Kirk (talk) 14:58, 11 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]
See, you're taking my remark against Damien Vryce literally. Obviously if there's offensive information, or specifically things that violate Wikipedia policy on someone's user page, then an administrator can edit it. But in Damien Vryce's case, he wrote comments about Fatman!! being gay and that was clearly NOT some sort of typo edit or alteration according to Wikipedia policy. My comment about not editing other's people's user pages was strictly in regards to editing for fun. I'm sorry for your misunderstanding of a comment that wasn't directed towards you, on a Wikipedia article, or on your user page. --βig 23:09, 11 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for uploading Image:2006-2007 schedule.jpg. I notice the 'image' page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you have not created this media yourself then there needs to be an argument why we have the right to use the media on Wikipedia (see copyright tagging below). I already uploaded a version I made myself and released it under GFDL. Please delete the old one. --βig 23:14, 20 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]
