Nightmare on Elm St franchise.

Maybe the article needs a development section, but focusing only on the latest remake seems a waste. That's probably better for the remake's own article, probably is already there and it looks like it was copied directly from that. Duggy 1138 (talk) 21:13, 31 October 2011 (UTC)

It would be preferential for it the article to have a section like the others but as it is it is out of place and misleading. If someone is interested in doing an proper development section, let them, but as it is it damages the page not improves it. Duggy 1138 (talk) 02:11, 1 November 2011 (UTC)
If you want to keep it shouldn't you be the one to improve it? I'd rather hide it until someone with an interest and some knowledge on the development came along. Duggy 1138 (talk) 02:20, 1 November 2011 (UTC)

Discussion

Hey Bignole, as a regular TV editor, would you voice your opinion here. Thank you in advance. I may have missed something. Jayy008 (talk) 18:23, 3 November 2011 (UTC)

Question

Bignole,

How have you managed to create page and they do not get deleted because all pages I create are always deleted.. Give me some key points — Preceding unsigned comment added by Lutaya (talkcontribs) 16:17, 13 November 2011 (UTC)

Batman

Bignole have you completed Arkham City yet? If so I need some aid/advice at Batman: Arkham City. I've finally been able to play it and have rewritten the plot to more accurately reflect the events of the game and cover, what I feel, are key moments therein. But User:Katangais keeps reverting it saying it is too long and poorly written. I trimmed it so it was shorter than the current iteration but this somehow still meant it was longer than the current iteration so I think the user is just being a pain, but I could use someone who can read my version and just see if it is poorly written or not as I've tried to cover the major plot in about 710 words. If you haven't completed it yet, disregard this request as you'll be ruining an awesome ending. Otherwise this is my version, this is the old version. If you are able to help, I would appreciate it. Thanks for your input BN, I will take a closer look and write a final treatment tomorrow as I can't see any excuse for keeping the current plot except that I think Katanagis wrote it and wants to keep it. Darkwarriorblake (talk) 04:29, 11 November 2011 (UTC)
I have added the new plot to this page combining your write up and my own, I kept the part about the exchange between Joker and Batman as I feel it is important to the end of their arc and a call back to the end of the Killing Joke, but other than that it is 631 words, and written perfectly well IMO, so if he reverts it again (and I did start a discussion on the talk page), I will now be kicking his ass Darkwarriorblake (talk) 16:53, 15 November 2011 (UTC)
Also, is it me or weren't there two vials? One seemed to just disappear by the end of the game Darkwarriorblake (talk) 16:55, 15 November 2011 (UTC)
Oh yeahhhhhh, that's a problem with longer games I guess, by the end I was wondering why there wasn't a second vial available and had completely forgotten what happened to the other. Darkwarriorblake (talk) 20:25, 15 November 2011 (UTC)
I removed the quotes, I felt it was important but I'm bias because it's Joker. Katanagais is complaining but I refuse to believe that a plot where the first 2.5 paragraphs cover the opening 5 minutes and stuff that isn't actually shown in the game, is acceptable.Darkwarriorblake (talk) 20:53, 15 November 2011 (UTC)

Ratings

Hey Bignole, the source says it's original episodes only with no repeats. Jayy008 (talk) 18:39, 16 November 2011 (UTC)

They only specify the Live+7 don't include repeats, or do you think it could mean all on that mean is only original? Jayy008 (talk) 18:43, 16 November 2011 (UTC)

I do see what you mean, so maybe you're correct. I guess we should go with the Live+7 numbers for all of it (without repeats from the second source) and just add a note saying why. Jayy008 (talk) 15:54, 21 November 2011 (UTC)
Upon re-examining. I see the first source TVBTN posted was including repeats and "One Tree Hill" for example had 1.6 million viewers. The second source which claimed Live+7 with no repeats, had Live+SD for "One Tree Hill" listed as 1.8m, so I'm guessing that it averaged 1.8 million without reruns. Jayy008 (talk) 16:18, 21 November 2011 (UTC)
I would rather use live+SD without repeats simply because it would be consistent with other seasons. However, Live+7 is a big part of TV now and that many people did watch the show, so maybe we should use those? I'm completely against using anything including repeats as they're incorrect numbers. The chart ranking is a little more complicated, I think the one Deadline created is much more realistic. Jayy008 (talk) 18:19, 21 November 2011 (UTC)
On a side note, my GA nomination was failed, which was fine. However, I made the changes then the user told me there was more, so isn't there a way I can re-nominate without having to wait months again? I'd like somebody to review it who's willing to review it properly. Jayy008 (talk) 18:23, 21 November 2011 (UTC)

Take another look at The Adventures of Brisco County, Jr. before FAC?

Hi Bignole, this article recently passed its GA review. Your comments before that process were helpful. I'd like to bring to FAC soon, so I'm asking some editors to give it a fresh look for issues or sticking points. Looking at past FAC discussions, I'm a little worried about non-free images, but it doesn't have any more than Firefly (TV series), so I'm not sure... Any further advice or suggestions?
