Thank you for the review. I rushed my initial submission - I have now added several external references. This is my first article submission, so I am still not sure if I understand the WP:N requirements correctly. Can you please have a look at the latest version of the draft and let me know if the references I added to university staff pages and external media articles are sufficient to meet the requirement? If not, I will look for more.

I think this is potentially notable, but the sources cited fall short of WP:GNG, with only the Wired article fully meeting that standard, and it alone not being enough. Possibly also notable under WP:NACADEMIC and/or WP:CREATIVE, but in that case the author should clearly state which of the various criteria they wish to assert and what evidence supports this.
