iShares COMEX Gold[edit]

Thank you for your clarification regarding your edit to the iShares COMEX Gold Trust (IAU) section of the Gold exchange-traded fund article: "The claim is inaccurate per the source reference. There is no mention in the sited article of IAU, iShares, iShares COMEX Gold Trust, etc. The article simply references COMEX, a separate entity." I'm not sure why you're contesting the validity of the claim, since it is backed by references. However it is clear that the relationship between COMEX and IAU is not straightforward, and a general statement regarding COMEX was out-of-place. I have updated the article to address concerns relating directly to IAU, and relating to IAU's relationship with COMEX per the IAU prospectus. If you would like to discuss this further, please see Talk:Gold exchange-traded fund. --Stybn (talk) 22:53, 29 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]
