Hello. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. You could also click on the signature button or located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when they said it. Thank you. --SineBot (talk) 22:05, 10 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]

TW/HG[edit]

Are you using TW or HG? You seem like you'd be doing quite some vandalism reversion, and I think these would help you a lot. Oxfordwang (talk) 23:30, 10 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]

I had no idea those two things existed! I'll make use of them. Yes, I happen to know a fair bit on the subject. I'll add to the article today now that the troll has gone. Blix1900 (talk) 08:51, 11 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Re: 82.4.68.91[edit]

Hello Blix1900, and thank you for your message. Sorry to keep you waiting. I see that this IP has been well warned, so I was going to suggest a report at WP:AIV... but I see you've already done that. I'm hoping AIV will bring some immediate resolve, but then again, there's a chance that the reviewer might see it as a content dispute and decline. Perhaps we should see where that goes before I suggest anything else. I will help you by keeping an eye on the article for the next few days, and will try hard to send the IP to discussion if the disruption continues. ~More followup to come, pending the outcome of your AIV report~ :)  -- WikHead (talk) 11:28, 14 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]

  • Update - I see this IP has been blocked for 45 days as a result of your report, so that should allow plenty of time for things to settle down and get back to normal. Have yourself a great day Blix1900, and happy editing! :)  -- WikHead (talk) 11:48, 14 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Re: Haitham Al Haddad article[edit]

Hey Blix1900, I've detected from your message that there may be a slight misunderstanding, so I'd like to make it clear up front that I personally am not a wiki admin. Though I had once been asked if I'd accept an RfA nomination, I decided it was best to put that idea off to a later date. As for Shafic, I know he has a long history of being very disruptive at this article, and I'm not willing to ignore that. I cannot however deny the fact that his correspondence with "me" (to date) has always been very polite and mannerly. Trust me, I'm wise enough to not be sweet-talked by trouble, so please don't be alarmed if you see me communicating with him at the same level of respect he shows me. Mixed in with that pleasant communication you see on the surface, you will also notice that I remain firm and true to wiki form and policies. I don't believe we've seen the last of Shafic quite yet, but I'm hoping that I can at least draw him into discussion with the use of good communication skills. I think this whole situation would be much easier to deal with that way. Over the next few days, I plan to carefully review this article from top to bottom, and add a few comments to the open thread on its talk page. I'll see you there! :)   /ˈwɪk.hɛd/  -- WikHead (talk) 02:05, 17 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]
