If you want help with anything specific, don't hesitate to ask, judging by your recent edits to Wales national football team you're doing fine (though my personal preference would be to keep the number of subheadings to a minimum). In terms of protocol for making changes, being bold and going ahead with it is frequently the best thing to do, but if you think there will be any disagreement, explain your reasons on the talk page first. Oldelpaso 21:47, 22 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Many thanks! If you could take a peek at the Wales national football team and let me know if it needs anything extra, that'd be great Blogdroed 18:49, 23 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Thats quite an expansion! How much extra work to put into it depends on what level you want to get the article to - on a par with some of the better national team articles (almost there), the best example of a national team article, or a featured article eligible to appear on the Main Page? I've listed the three things which I think would most improve the article at Talk:Wales national football team. Oldelpaso 20:20, 23 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Ta, though I can't see anything on the Wales talk pages :( Blogdroed 20:26, 23 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]
D'oh, I'm too slow, its there now :p Oldelpaso 20:31, 23 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

The accusations of racism are totally out of order, but calling people arrogant or ignorant in response isn't going to help. The only real advice I can give is to stay cool. Oldelpaso 19:37, 7 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

George Wynn[edit]

Thanks, anything you can contribute would be great. I've put what little I have so far at User:Oldelpaso/George Wynn. Oldelpaso 21:25, 3 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for your help. As there's now enough material for a reasonable stub, I've moved it to George Wynn. I'll see what more I can find - a little more about his international appearances and it might be suitable for the Did You Know? section on the main page. Oldelpaso 19:34, 4 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Updated DYK query On June 8 2007, Did you know? was updated with a fact from the article George Wynn, which you created or substantially expanded. If you know of another interesting fact from a recently created article, then please suggest it on the Did you know? talk page.

Disputed fair use rationale for Image:CaernarfonTownFC badge.gif[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:CaernarfonTownFC badge.gif. However, there is a concern that the rationale you have provided for using this image under "fair use" may be invalid. Please read the instructions at Wikipedia:Non-free content carefully, then go to the image description page and clarify why you think the image qualifies for fair use. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If it is determined that the image does not qualify under fair use, it will be deleted within a couple of days according to our criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot (talk) 04:44, 12 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

To be perfectly honest I haven't the time nor inclination to trawl through the fair use policy. Suffice to say it is the club crest which, to my knowledge, is not copyright and is used on all sites relating to or linking to Caernarfon Town FC Blogdroed (talk) 16:19, 12 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Disambiguation link notification for September 13[edit]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Sgorio, you added links pointing to the disambiguation pages Welsh and Wales national rugby team (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. Invite to the African Destubathon[edit]

Hi. You may be interested in participating in the African Destubathon which starts on October 15. Africa currently has over 37,000 stubs and badly needs a quality improvement editathon/contest to flesh out basic stubs. There are proposed substantial prizes to give to editors who do the most articles, and planned smaller prizes for doing to most destubs for each of the 53 African countries, so should be enjoyable! So it would be a good chance to win something for improving stubs on African sportspeople, including footballers, athletes, Olympians and Paralympians etc, particularly female ones, but also male. Even if contests aren't your thing we would be grateful if you could consider destubbing a few African articles during the drive to help the cause and help reduce the massive 37,000 + stub count, of which many are rated high importance (think Regions of countries etc). If you're interested in competing or just loosely contributing a few expanded articles on African Paralympians, Olympians and committees etc, please add your name to the Contestants/participants section. Diversity of work from a lot of people will make this that bit more special. Thanks. --MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 21:13, 6 October 2016 (UTC)[reply]
