A tag has been placed on Stanley "The Baron" Behrens requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person or group of people, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. April 2012[edit]

Please do not write an article about yourself. Creating an autobiography is strongly discouraged – see our guideline on writing autobiographies. If you create such an article, it may be deleted. If what you have done in life is genuinely notable and can be verified according to our policy for articles about living people, someone else will probably create an article about you sooner or later (see Wikipedians with articles). Please understand that this is an encyclopedia and not a personal web space or social networking site. If your article has already been deleted, please see: Why was my page deleted?, and if you feel the deletion was an error, please discuss it with the deleting administrator. Thank you. — Malik Shabazz Talk/Stalk 05:39, 7 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Black Sabbath '13'[edit]

According to my source, who is close to and received this information from Geezer Butler, Ozzy Osbourne played Harmonica on the track 'Damaged Soul'. However, you have suggested on several occasions that Rick Rubin hired you as a session musician to play Harmonica on a track called 'Satanic Blues' (I am assuming you mean the track I mentioned before, 'Damaged Soul'), do you have anything to substantiate this claim and refute the words of the band and the credits booklet? --Jamieh08 (talk) 14:29, 7 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Please stop adding yourself as the harmonica player on 13 (Black Sabbath album) until you can support this with a reliable source per WP:RS. On Wikipedia we report information given from reliable sources, and while I am not questioning you as a person, we do need something more concrete than your word. Facebook pages, blogs like World of Harmonica, and other such sites are not considered reliable for Wikipedia articles. On the other hand, major newspapers, online news sites, and rock/metal magazines can qualify as reliable sources.
This editing also falls under WP:COI. Instead of making these edits yourself, I suggest joining the discussion on Talk:13 (Black Sabbath album) about this, and allowing other people to add this information if and when it can be confirmed by reliable sources. Dear Mr.MoustacheMM, I am sure if you asked Rick Rubin or even the engineer that was at the Sound Factory Studio in January when I did the session they would say It is not Ozzy playing harmonica on Damaged Soul it is me. I haven't been able to reach any of them as yet. I am a very known harmonica artist with a world class track record. Listen to me play on the Mike Post theme "Renegade", then listen to Ozzy play on the "Wizard". Listen to Damaged Soul and you can clearly here it is me not Ozzy. I was hired because Ozzy couldn't cut it. They paid me through a direct deposit from the company in England. My name was supposed to be on the record. I don't know why it is not there. I don't think it's fair to have Ozzy take the credit for my artistry.
ps I am currently the harmonica player in the band WAR. Look me up on google and you will see who I am and what I've done.....

Even if I could ask Rick Rubin or the engineer (and let's be realistic, that's not likely to ever happen), personal conversations are definitely not reliable sources for Wikipedia. As I explained above, only reliable sources per WP:RS can be used to support information added on Wikipedia. In order to add this information, you must find a reliable source saying that you were the harmonica player.
Also, please keep your replies here, per my talk page guidelines. Thanks. MrMoustacheMM (talk) 15:32, 12 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Again, please stop removing harmonica from the 13 article until you can back up your claims with a reliable source. MrMoustacheMM (talk) 16:16, 25 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]
