Richard Curtis[edit]

Hi Bob, I agree with all that you said but just to cover myself I've initiated a discussion at Wikipedia:Requested moves and Talk:Richard Curtis (screenwriter). Looking at the politician's article, he is involved in a recent sex scandal which probably explains the sudden move! Regards, Tim! 17:43, 6 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Blackadder Goes Forth GA sweep (hold)[edit]

I have reassessed this article as part of Wikipedia:WikiProject Good articles/Project quality task force. We are currently revisiting all listed Good articles in an effort to ensure that they continue to meet the Good article criteria.

In reviewing the article, I came across some issues that may need to be addressed; I have left a detailed summary on the article's talk page. As a result I have put Blackadder Goes Forth's GA status on hold. This will remain in place for a week or so before a final decision is taken as to the article's status.

I've left this notice here because, from the article history, you have been a significant contributor. If you no longer edit this article, please accept my apologies and feel free to disregard this message.

About one foot in the grave[edit]

They just came out with a new all episodes and the christmas special, with new commentary and that has not been update on the page. I would like to see information on if the new dvd has subtitles, because while the other single seasons do have that information, this information is a black hole. It might be worth it for non english speakers to know this information or for the deaf. Or if I could buy the european release, they always have four languages and subtitles, but they don't make a european release.Robert551 (talk) 02:20, 28 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks I found a site on the subject on dvd subtitles[edit]

http://dvd-subtitles.com/

I found this site, but even here they are not telling, so I was looking to get in touch with some super fans of one foot in the grave who may know, but I couldn't find any. I also noticed the DVD release information is out of date, but I don't know how to send an alert to let the people who maintain the one foot in the grave page, so they can update it. So, I left you a message. I don't have the dvd either yet, so I don't feel qualified to update it myself. Maybe there is a kind of "to do list" for the page, but I can't find it. Centralized TV Episode Discussion[edit]

Over the past months, TV episodes have been reverted by (to name a couple) TTN, Eusebeus and others. No centralized discussion has taken place, so I'm asking everyone who has been involved in this issue to voice their opinions here in this centralized spot, be they pro or anti. Discussion is here [2]. --Maniwar (talk) 20:06, 15 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

New Zealand Postcards[edit]

Why did you remove my link from this page as spam, when it is no different than the othe 3 other links in the external links section. they all promote sale of their postcards, where my one only has images of New Zealand Post Cards? —Preceding unsigned comment added by Spaceman8815 (talkcontribs) 05:24, 6 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Re GA sweeps[edit]

I've noticed you're involved in many of the articles I'm sweeping on behalf of WP:GAPQ/S. The work you've been putting in is much appreciated - all the more so since I'm well aware that these GA reassessments are unsolicited. It's likely that there will be more to come (the next article on my list is One Foot in the Grave, which on initial read-through suffers from the same issues as Mr. Bean), but I'll delay further assessment until the Mr. Bean hold expires.

What I'd like to avoid is creating the sense that I'm landing an unwelcome and unfair workload on a few editors, such as yourself, leading to improper article delisting. At the same time I'm sure you understand that articles rated as 'GA' need to comply with current criteria. To that end, is there anything I can do to make this process easier? Perhaps extending the 'hold' periods, or advertising the reassessment more widely? If you have any suggestions, please get in touch! All the best, EyeSerenetalk 18:14, 14 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I can't help with Mr Bean, but I'll certainly give you a hand with One Foot... The JPStalk to me 13:57, 15 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks for the feedback - I'm relieved you see it that way! Unfortunately GA sweeping can be an excellent way to upset valuable editors, and I really feel bad about delisting articles that have been worked on so hard... especially if it's the same editors involved each time. However, I won't delist an article that's actively being worked on (even if the hold has technically expired), so there's no need to rush. All the best, EyeSerenetalk 10:38, 17 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Gateshead millenium bridge[edit]
