Duplicate images uploaded[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:ChNN at Maleny 26 06 2000.jpg. A machine-controlled robot account noticed that you also uploaded the same image under the name Image:Chnnr 01.jpg. The copy called Image:Chnnr 01.jpg has been marked for speedy deletion since it is redundant. If this sounds okay to you, there is no need for you to take any action.

This is an automated message- you have not upset or annoyed anyone, and you do not need to respond. In the future, you may save yourself some confusion if you supply a meaningful file name and refer to 'my contributions' to remind yourself exactly which name you chose (file names are case sensitive, including the extension) so that you won't lose track of your uploads. For tips on good file naming, see Wikipedia's image use policy. If you have any questions about this notice, or feel that the deletion is inappropriate, please contact User:Staecker, who operates the robot account. Staeckerbot 03:45, 13 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Teacher's image deleted again[edit]

Hi, Bob. Do you understand why User:Rettetast deleted the image of the teacher, that you uploaded then?
([1])
Why did you put those templates (contested etc) on image's page?

Hi Victor Yes I understand the bit about fair use & a living person, etc, but in actual fact there are no images of ChNN on Wikipedia or Wikimedia that I could find. I think the Wikipedia rules on this are unrealistic.

As for the templates (contested etc) I don't remember adding them & since the page has been deleted I don't have a clue what they were about. Regards Bob --Bodhirakshita 00:11, 30 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Victor I've uploaded another image to Wikimedia & added it to the article perhaps I've got the licensing right this time.

Hi, Bob. Same thing again.
I've also uploaded an image, Tibetan A in a thigle, that I used in the User_Dzogchen template. I've licensed the image under GNU Free documentation licence.
The image is still there.
