Question on Michel Lazard[edit]

I am confused as to the proposal for deletion. Michel Lazard is not a living person, he died in the early 20th century, the wikipedia page is also linked to from Lazard's universal coefficient ring. I added references. Pardon, I am new to editing Wikipedia. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Fractalcows (talkcontribs) 22:59, 4 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]

@Fractalcows: Sorry, that was my mistake, I changed to to "person who lived". Basically, any person who ever lived, must have an infobox like so Template:Infobox_person. And in addition your article has no inline citations, you'll probably want to fix that. There is also the problem of not enough sections. If you look at articles for people, usually there are sections which cover early life, their accomplishments, and death. The reason I set it to a "proposed deletion" is because these problems can be fixed. So that's my reasoning, fix those problems, and the article will be suited for Wikipedia. If you do fix these problems, I'll be happy to remove the proposed deletion tag. This article can help you, as I assume this is your first article Wikipedia:Your_first_article once you get the gist of it you'll be good at editing and creating articles. Good luck! (P.S. You might want to make a userpage) --Bobtinin (talk) 23:10, 4 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Disambiguation link notification for July 30[edit]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Andrew Wilson (businessman), you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Gold Coast. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Proposed deletion of Freddie Woodman[edit]

The article Freddie Woodman has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Fails WP:GNG and WP:NFOOTBALL

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.
