Upload a latest image[edit]

Hello Sir, please upload the latest image of the page Shahrukh Khan. The image which had set is 2012's on a media event. So please upload a new image of SRK from 2014/2015 to update the article. Thank you. ARNAB22 (talk) 07:47, 8 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Why? He looks good in this one, and has not changed his look in the last 3 years. BollyJeff | talk 14:35, 8 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Mayabazar[edit]

Mayabazar has become a FA! Thanks for your participation at the peer review! Pavanjandhyala (talk) 02:58, 10 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Hello there. You seem to have been somehow involved in said article. Letting you know Wikipedia:Featured article candidates/Sonam Kapoor/archive2 is underway if you'd care to review it. -- Frankie talk 13:20, 11 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]

PC's Padma Shri[edit]

She is indeed going to be honoured with Padma Shri: [1]. Vensatry (Talk) 16:22, 25 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]

@Vensatry:Okay, then add it with source in the awards section, otherwise it makes no sense for the template to be there. BollyJeff | talk 17:20, 25 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]
Th edits were made as a batch (as soon as I came to know about the winners). I'm asking you because I'm not sure where this should go in the body. Vensatry (Talk) 17:42, 25 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]
I added a small mention in the awards section. Maybe someone else will add it to the lead as well. BollyJeff | talk 18:16, 25 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]

SRK trademarked[edit]

Is it useful to add the fact that Shah Rukh Khan trademarked his initials (SRK)? Here's the source. Kailash29792 (talk) 17:22, 3 February 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Wow, I did not know this. I would put it as a footnote in the lead and and "Early life and family" sections where SRK appears. I can do it if you want. BollyJeff | talk 18:54, 3 February 2016 (UTC)[reply]
Since you took SRK to FA, I guess you know where to fit what. Kailash29792 (talk) 19:43, 3 February 2016 (UTC)[reply]
I looked it up here [2] and it says "opposed". Does this mean it was not granted to him? Even the source article says he applied for one, not that it was granted, so I am not sure about this. BollyJeff | talk 02:02, 4 February 2016 (UTC)[reply]

N. T. Rama Rao[edit]

Hi Bollyjeff. I have a small doubt and i hope you can clarify it. If you can observe this, the rationale says, "as of 2016, works published prior to 1 January 1956 are considered public domain" and those works include "Anonymous works, photographs, cinematographic works, sound recordings, government works, and works of corporate authorship or of international organizations". I wanted a free file of N. T. Rama Rao and this got me thinking. Can i use a screenshot of any of his films released before 1956 and upload it as a free file? I request your opinion in this case. Pavanjandhyala (talk) 06:24, 10 February 2016 (UTC)[reply]

If I were you, I would check this link, and ask the same question on the talk page: Wikipedia:Image use policy. BollyJeff | talk 15:34, 10 February 2016 (UTC)[reply]

An Article on Bollywood Composer duo Nikhil-Vinay[edit]

Hi sir, I request you to create an article about the music composer duo Nikhil-Vinay as currently there's none available... I received various requests via email for the article and I find it hard to gather facts about them. So I had to approach you sir. Please consider the creation. Thanks Metre per second (talk) 07:26, 13 February 2016 (UTC)[reply]

I am taking one last run at getting Emily Ratajkowski promoted to WP:FA in time for a 25th birthday WP:TFA on June 7th. Wikipedia:Featured article candidates/Emily Ratajkowski/archive3 needs discussants. Since you were a Wikipedia:Featured article candidates/Emily Ratajkowski/archive2 participant, I am hoping you might give some comments.--TonyTheTiger (T / C / WP:FOUR / WP:CHICAGO / WP:WAWARD) 01:35, 23 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]

You were involved in one of the prior WP:FAC or WP:PR discussions about Emily Ratajkowski. The current discussion at Wikipedia:Featured article candidates/Emily Ratajkowski/archive4 needs more discussants. In my prior successful FACs, success has been largely based on guidance at FAC in reshaping the content that I have nominated. I would appreciate discussants interested in giving guidance such guidance.--TonyTheTiger (T / C / WP:FOUR / WP:CHICAGO / WP:WAWARD) 03:56, 26 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Bollyjeff, when you are really free, can you please leave your comments there? I wish to make Eega a FA and i opine that your suggestions would help me improve it. Regards, Pavanjandhyala (talk) 09:50, 1 May 2016 (UTC)[reply]

This is my first solo attempt for FAC. If interested, please do leave your comments here. Yours friendly, Pavanjandhyala (talk) 03:10, 1 June 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, Bollyjeff. I've listed the article for PR here as I wish to take it FA. Feel free to leave comments. Thanks.  — Ssven2 Speak 2 me 01:19, 17 May 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Mother India, a disaster film[edit]

I saw that a user added it to the category disaster films, but you reverted his edit, saying "I don't think that is a defining characteristic of this film". While I know it is not one like The Day After Tomorrow or Roland Emmerich's other films, does the storm and flood in the film explain anything? Kailash29792 (talk) 13:41, 1 July 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Look at WP:CATDEF and WP:DEFINING. Nothing is mentioned in the lead of the article about disasters, so it doesn't seem to qualify as defining. The film is about what all happened to the mother and how she handled it; the flood is only a part of that. BollyJeff | talk 14:34, 1 July 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Eurocup Basketball was renamed to EuroCup Basketball[edit]

The leagues of Euroleague and Eurocup Basketball were renamed to EuroLeague (capital L) and EuroCup Basketball (capital C). So the templates need to be changed to reflect that.Bluesangrel (talk) 02:09, 8 July 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Okay sorry, but change the article first. It was showing as a red link in the template so I mistook it for vandalism. BollyJeff | talk 02:12, 8 July 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Can you help me to make the article of Salman Khan to featured article. Can you say what criteria should be fullfilled to make an article featured. And how to nominate that article? Regards.. Ambeinghari (talk) 14:56, 4 August 2016 (UTC)[reply]

I think you can first try taking it to GA before attempting FA. And for that, you must do extreme copyediting or ask skilled editors to edit it for you. Kailash29792 (talk) 14:59, 4 August 2016 (UTC)[reply]
[GA main info] and [GA criteria]; [FA info] and [FA criteria]. BollyJeff | talk 17:08, 4 August 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you. It will be helpful Ambeinghari (talk) 07:30, 6 August 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you. §§Dharmadhyaksha§§ {Talk / Edits} 09:59, 7 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Jeff, don't you think Dharmadhyaksha is too much of an extremist who is gaming the system? I mean, I too respect Wikipedia's policies like he does, but I never imagined he would go to such lengths as he is doing now. Kailash29792 (talk) 10:12, 7 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Biggest Movie Star[edit]

Hello there, why can't we use the "Biggest Movie Star In The World" tag in the page Shah Rukh Khan as of Fobes described. 1-2 years ago the tag was there but now it's getting edited whenever someone going to add this. ARNAB22 (talk) 20:18, 12 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]

One out of date source is not enough to add the phrase "described as the biggest movie star in the world" to the lede of this article (or any other article for that matter). You are once again making edits which don't follow the rules. You have been instructed not to make this change yet you have done it again anyway. You need to learn the rules of Wikipedia and start following them. Furthermore you MUST include an Edit Summary for EVERY update you make. FillsHerTease (talk) 22:02, 13 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]

DDLJ parodied in Roadside Romeo[edit]
