Wikipedia policies

You may want to read up on some Wikipedia policies, including original research and neutral point of view. Statements like

• "Just above the Horseshoe Falls in the upper Niagara River, there were three people in a small motor boat. Trouble developed with the motor and the current swept the boat rapidly towards the brink of the Falls."
• "nothing so spectacular had ever occurred. It will most likely always stand out as the Maid’s “finest hour.”"

Hello, Robert. I was asked by a friend at Goldberg Segalla to update their page to remove content that did not meet Wikipedia standards. Now I see the page has been deleted. Can you tell me why the page was deleted, if you know, and how it can be restored?
