Help[edit]

Hi Amalthea, thanks very much for your guidance on this. I'll try to get the infobox & logo on the page. I've added another page below as well if you'd like to take a quick look.

I took the liberty of moving your draft to User:Bonnie Khan/Richard O'Brien, it'll be a bit easier for you to work on it there without all the talk page messages in between. You can create as many subpages as you need in your user space.
Concerning your article, doing a quick search hasn't convinced me that he passes the inclusion guideline at WP:BIO. Do you know of any interviews or the like that were published in reliable sources?
Oh, and I commented the categories out again: they should only be used on articles that are in the main space, not in the user space. Just remove the comment tags surrounding the categories once you move it into article space. --AmaltheaTalk 15:52, 11 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Looking at the links in your article though he probably does pass WP:BIO. This one looks pretty good.
Some other things:
 • The normal way to link to other articles here on Wikipedia is by enclosing the term in two sqare brackets. Wikipedia → Wikipedia. If you want to give it a different name, use the pipe character: Wiki → Wiki.
 • Try to reduce the number of external links you include in an article. In particular, if an item has a Wikipedia article like Outsights, use Outsights instead of Outsights.
 • If you want to use an external link as a reference to support a fact in the article, either put it into a section called references or use the ref tags, similar to the one in Outsights.

Cheers - you're moving super fast! I'm barely keeping up. I'll make the changes you suggest, and have found other possibly better links for Richard from the International Herald Tribune on his book, The End of Geography; and an article with a quote from him from Time Magazine when he was AMEX Chief Economist. They're below if you'd like to take a look. I haven't made any changes to the article yet.

Hi Amalthea, I've made the recommended changes and added some references. Happy to make any more as necessary. Cheers Bonnie Khan (talk) 17:36, 11 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Great work. I'll do some more minor things and will move it then into the main space, if you don't mind. Cheers, AmaltheaTalk 18:20, 11 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]
OK, I moved it to Richard O'Brien (economist). Cheers, AmaltheaTalk 00:15, 12 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Many thanks Amalthea, I'm really starting to enjoy contributing! Your guidance is greatly appreciated. Have a good day! kr, Bonnie Khan (talk) 08:31, 12 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]
