Disambiguation link notification
Hi. In Maurice Jarre, you recently added a link to the disambiguation page Glory (film) (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. For more information, see the FAQ or drop a line at the DPL WikiProject.

Dam 999
A possible edit war is happening in Dam 999. Since I not able to convince the editor, request your intervention and guidance. He seems to be using sock-puppets IPs also.

You recently took part in a deletion discussion for this film, but given new information that the film is now on hold[1][2], would suggest a redirect to Paradise Lost#Films is more appropriate as per WP:NFF, and as per suggested by multiple editors at the deletion discussion. Would appreciate input at Talk:Paradise Lost (2013 film)#Redirect. --Rob Sinden (talk) 09:13, 14 December 2011 (UTC)

Karmayogi (2011 film)
Hello,
You have given the release date of Karmayogi as 25 May 2011 with a comment about film festival screening, but no reference given about which film festival it was. As far I know (or found), it was screened in IFFI in Nov-Dec and IFFK this month. Could you please provide the reference or correct the date. Also, if film festival screening date is given as release date, it will be better to provide that information in brackets, else it will be really confusing for ordinary users. (In India/Kerala, people don't follow film festivals in a big way and usually consider theatrical release only as the release). I think, this cultural/geographic differences also should be considered while we update articles, otherwise the information will be just academic rather than useful.

Your edit summary both misrepresents (and indeed breeches) WP:BRD and ignores the fact that I have already started discussion on the templates talk page; where you have failed to make clear your objections. You should also be aware of the WP:DRNC essay. Andy Mabbett (Pigsonthewing); Talk to Andy; Andy's edits 20:18, 27 December 2011 (UTC)
- I'm confused how my edits breech BRD: you were bold, I reverted and then you reverted again. I am making my objections clear as we speak. And just because you start a discussion on the talk page after you have been reverted does not me you have "discussed" the issue. BOVINEBOY2008 20:24, 27 December 2011 (UTC)

cold weather
hi there. as one of the folks who made cold weather: it was released theatrically Feb 4, 2011. please refrain from deleting that information from the page. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 71.236.108.83 (talk) 07:10, 28 December 2011 (UTC)
- But that is not when it premiered. We do not just consider theatrical releases in the United States for premiere dates. See WP:FILMRELEASE. BOVINEBOY2008 13:12, 28 December 2011 (UTC)
If you want to keep both 2010 and 2011 that's fine. But please stop deleting 2011. WIkipedia is used as resource when writers and critics are putting together year end lists. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 71.236.108.83 (talk) 05:14, 29 December 2011 (UTC)
- It is not a 2011 film, and it is required that only one year category is used per film. Please stop adding the latter as it is inaccurate. BOVINEBOY2008 05:16, 29 December 2011 (UTC)
It was released theatrically in 2011, reviewed in 2011, included on Best of Lists for 2011. To not list it as a 2011 film is inaccurate. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 71.236.108.83 (talk) 05:29, 29 December 2011 (UTC)
Foreign-language film infoboxes
Greetings, I observed that you have been changing the infoboxes of many articles on Chinese films from the specific one for Chinese films to the more generic one. I understand that you are adhering to WP:NCF#Foreign-language films, but I also feel that there is no need to pull out the Chinese titles from the infobox. Doing so renders the Chinese film infobox unnecessary, and makes editors like me question the point of having this infobox in the first place. The same applies to other infoboxes for foreign-language films, such as the Korean and Japanese ones. Lonelydarksky (暗無天日) contact me (聯絡) 15:32, 28 December 2011 (UTC)
- Well, the other language infoboxes for film are eventually going to be merged into the main template. BOVINEBOY2008 16:02, 28 December 2011 (UTC)
- No doubt about that, but for now as long as the infoboxes exist they may be used in place of the generic one. Lonelydarksky (暗無天日) contact me (聯絡) 17:25, 28 December 2011 (UTC)
