Information icon Please do not add or change content, as you did at Conway Scenic Railroad, without citing a reliable source. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. Thank you. Trainsandotherthings (talk) 20:51, 4 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Have the info is missing, do you know what is happening?

A large amount of information in the locomotive roster was removed, because it lacks references to reliable sources. On Wikipedia, original research is not allowed. Please do not reinsert information that does not have references to support it. Trainsandotherthings (talk) 21:03, 4 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]

It's been like that for years, are you an admin of Wikipedia? If your not I would take it up with one of them before taking it upon yourself to make major changes like that. In the mean time you need to find a way to add some fluff, it looks terrible.

The age of content does not mean it is somehow required to remain as is. I recently discovered a hoax article that had been unchanged for ten years, but it was deleted soon after discovery because no reliable sources could substantiate it. You are incorrect in saying that only admins can delete content or make bold changes. In fact, it is a core policy of Wikipedia (WP:BOLD). Furthermore, I suspect you have a conflict of interest with this article, as you seem to have inside information which would suggest you are directly involved with the subject (WP:COI). If this is true, you must declare that you have a conflict of interest with this article, and should not be editing it.
I am under no obligation to "add fluff" to the article. Wikipedia articles are not a storage space for indiscriminate and/or unsourced information. Trainsandotherthings (talk) 21:25, 4 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]
