July 2022[edit]

Information icon Hello, I'm Smallangryplanet. I noticed that you recently removed content from List of Albanians in Germany without adequately explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an accurate edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry; the removed content has been restored. If you would like to experiment, please use your sandbox. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. Hello, I already explained it. Wikipedia is after RS-Source Brûkî27 (talk) 18:25, 10 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Please do not add or change content without citing a reliable source. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. Thank you. Semsûrî (talk) 22:43, 13 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, but your recent edits appear to be intentional disruptions designed to illustrate a point. Edits designed for the deliberate purpose of drawing opposition, including making edits you do not agree with or enforcing a rule in a generally unpopular way, are highly disruptive and can lead to a block or ban. If you feel that a policy is problematic, the policy's talk page is the proper place to raise your concerns. If you simply disagree with someone's actions in an article, discuss it on the article talk page or, if direct discussion fails, through dispute resolution. If consensus strongly disagrees with you even after you have made proper efforts, then respect the consensus, rather than trying to sway it with disruptive tactics. Thank you. Stop icon You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you disrupt Wikipedia. Jingiby (talk) 17:38, 14 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]

I did not disrupt Wikipedia. This is pure propaganda to take unsourced things in public!!!! Brûkî27 (talk) 17:39, 14 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, Brûki27. Many of the additions you made were unsourced. Some edits included sources but were not appropriate. Please read the source that you are going to provide, because the word "Kurd" appearing in a text is not enough to make claims about one's ancestry, since you need to read the whole paragraph. Otherwise, you are adding sources that don't support your edits and even say otherwise. Please do not remove bits that are backed up, and if you're skeptical, read the source and reword that part so that it reflects the source truthfully and objectively. I appreciate your effort in searching for books instead of using Pinterest or stock photo sites as source, but please take this message as a warning, because your edits are disruptive. Thank you.--Ayıntaplı (talk) 19:14, 14 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]

This is a standard message to notify contributors about an administrative ruling in effect. It does not imply that there are any issues with your contributions to date.

You have shown interest in the topics of Kurds and Kurdistan, broadly construed. Due to past disruption in this topic area, a more stringent set of rules called discretionary sanctions is in effect. Any administrator may impose sanctions on editors who do not strictly follow Wikipedia's policies, or the page-specific restrictions, when making edits related to the topic.

To opt out of receiving messages like this one, place {{Ds/aware}} on your user talk page and specify in the template the topic areas that you would like to opt out of alerts about. For additional information, please see the guidance on discretionary sanctions and the Arbitration Committee's decision here. If you have any questions, or any doubts regarding what edits are appropriate, you are welcome to discuss them with me or any other editor.

You have been blocked temporarily from editing for edit warring. Once the block has expired, you are welcome to make useful contributions.
During a dispute, you should first try to discuss controversial changes and seek consensus. If that proves unsuccessful, you are encouraged to seek dispute resolution, and in some cases it may be appropriate to request page protection.
If you think there are good reasons for being unblocked, please read the guide to appealing blocks, then add the following text below the block notice on your talk page: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}.
