Psychology[edit]
I am intriqued by your user page.
You say
"we hope to help educated the public about psychology" (sic)
But what if the public (whoever they are) are not minded to be educated ?
I suspect that you may mean
" I hope to ensure that topics about psychology are clear in meaning, accurate and balanced so that readers may form a valid view of psychology"
As a scientist, I am acutely aware that the laudable(?) aim of educating the masses, can easily, and probably properly, be construed as elitist, and paternalistic. We are all equal and IMHO education is a thing to be sought and not imposed. Velella Velella Talk 23:28, 20 May 2015 (UTC)
- Velella, I appreciate your thoughtful comment regarding my user page. To be frank, I mindlessly typed something in as I figured nobody would ever see my user page, much less minutes after it's formation.
