Speedy deletion of How to create a noe page[edit]

Thank you for experimenting with Wikipedia. Your test worked, and the page that you created has been or soon will be deleted. Please use the sandbox for any other tests you want to do. Take a look at the welcome page if you would like to learn more about contributing to our encyclopedia

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the article (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the article's talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Bangladesh Rehabilation Centre for Trauma Victims (BRCT)[edit]

I have reverted your edit to Bangladesh Rehabilation Centre for Trauma Victims (BRCT) for the following reasons:

  • Editors should not leave a datestamp in the article, although it is encouraged for remarks on talk pages.
  • You removed the "orphan" template although no other articles currently link to this article. Please add links to Bangladesh Rehabilation Centre for Trauma Victims (BRCT) before removing this template. Jackollie 05:19, 2 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Duplicate images uploaded[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:BRCT-Logo.jpg. A machine-controlled robot account noticed that you also uploaded the same image under the name Image:BRCT-Logo.JPG. The copy called Image:BRCT-Logo.JPG has been marked for speedy deletion since it is redundant. If this sounds okay to you, there is no need for you to take any action.

This is an automated message- you have not upset or annoyed anyone, and you do not need to respond. In the future, you may save yourself some confusion if you supply a meaningful file name and refer to 'my contributions' to remind yourself exactly which name you chose (file names are case sensitive, including the extension) so that you won't lose track of your uploads. For tips on good file naming, see Wikipedia's image use policy. If you have any questions about this notice, or feel that the deletion is inappropriate, please contact User:Staecker, who operates the robot account. Staeckerbot 12:29, 4 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

This is an automated message from CorenSearchBot. I have performed a web search with the contents of Bangladesh Rehabilitation Centre for Trauma Victims, and it appears to be very similar to another wikipedia page: Bangladesh Rehabilation Centre for Trauma Victims. It is possible that you have accidentally duplicated contents, or made an error while creating the page— you might want to look at the pages and see if that is the case.

This message was placed automatically, and it is possible that the bot is confused and found similarity where none actually exists. If that is the case, you can remove the tag from the article and it would be appreciated if you could drop a note on the maintainer's talk page. Speedy deletion of Akram Hossain Chowdhury[edit]

A tag has been placed on Akram Hossain Chowdhury requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a very short article providing little or no context to the reader. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the article's talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not simply revert my edits without thinking about them or discussing them. You are continuing to add back superfluous or repetitive material. Remember, every claim you make requires reliable, third party references and if you can't provide that then the material should not be written. And please don't write scads of information about Chowdhury's father in the son's article. It is not the place and no notability is proven for him. Finally, why do you make a fuss about Man of the Year from the American Biographical Institute? Anyone can buy that award! Gillyweed (talk) 13:22, 14 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]
May I once again suggest that you discuss the edits before reverting them. You are not doing your 'man' any favours with the biography you are trying to write for him. Why not spend some time looking at other articles before trying to write your own? Please read WP:Bio and related documents. This will help you write an excellent biography. == Hello... ==

It's nice to see someone taking active interest in the Wikipedia. Thanks and congratulations. The ever-growing community needs more people. But, it also needs a bit of restrain in part of editors who write and upload stuff here. First of all Wikipedoa tries to avoid conflict of interest (to avoid bias). As you clearly are closely affiliated with the two things you have working on - Bangladesh Rehabilitation Centre for Trauma Victims and Akram H. Chowdhury - you may consider taking a step back and working on something else for some time.

You also were reverting or removing a lot of attempts to identify problems or improve the article to Wikipedia standards. That may be considered disruptive editing, and is not really helpful. You have also been putting in stuff that doesn't tell from where you collected those. Since Wikipedia doesn't appreciate original research, you may try to cite sources according to the guidelines. Also, Wikipedia has a manual of style, which stands against some of the formatting styles you were using.

Please, remember what Wikipedia is not. This is an encyclopedia, not an advertisement or advocacy site. Therefore, some of the stuff you are putting in may not belong here (for example, the grand adjectives you used). It is already difficult maintaining this massive project, and therefore it would be very helpful if you accepted the guidelines instead of rejecting them. If you have any objection to anything, please, make use of the talk pages. Discussions are highly useful. Thanks again. Aditya(talkcontribs) 15:46, 16 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]
