If so, I am organizing a Seattle-area meetup in which I thought you might be interested. More details are here. Thanks and nice to meet you. Blue Rasberry (talk) 19:14, 15 November 2011 (UTC)

Hello. I and others will be at Café Allegro in u-district this Tuesday January 3 at 7pm. Here is the event description. I would enjoy meeting you there if you are available. Thanks. Blue Rasberry (talk) 19:19, 1 January 2012 (UTC)

Your revision to the Sunda Strait Bridge page

I notice that you seen to have removed a reference to an Indonesian website. I understand why you have done this. However, the problem is that that particular site is a very rich site of information about this project. My own view is that we need to balance (a) the disadvantage of listing an Indonesian site, against (b) the advantages of the rich information for some Wikipedia users. My own preference would be to relist the reference. It will be very helpful for some users, I think. Not all, but some. Pmccawley (talk) 04:40, 14 May 2012 (UTC)

Do you want to take a look at Honda Integra (motorcycle)? I'm not happy with the quality of some of the references given - some low quality blogs - and would appreciate your insight. Would also appreciate any comments you have for or against my rename (see the talk page). --Biker Biker (talk) 11:06, 7 June 2012 (UTC)

Thanks, I'll have a go at it tonight. Brianhe (talk) 21:44, 7 June 2012 (UTC)

Thanks

There were just too many changes with people not respecting the in use tag and flipping pages all over. I just gave up after some time. Should have removed it. Chirag (talk) 19:48, 31 July 2012 (UTC)

Wikipedia Takes America/Seattle

Wikipedia Takes America/Seattle needs you. Please sign up to participate, and discuss a date and meeting location. And maybe volunteer to be the organizer. I've been tagging articles needing photos for Category:Wikipedia requested photographs in Seattle, Washington. A lot of these articles need proper location data added to that they will appear on the Google map. Thanks! --Dennis Bratland (talk) 19:57, 19 August 2012 (UTC)

Seattle Fault

Can you help with Talk:Seattle Fault#Why it is bad to force image sizes? --Dennis Bratland (talk) 22:29, 26 August 2012 (UTC)

This is going to be tough. I've already had a few back-and-forths with this individual who seems to think he owns the article. In particular he's given the same empty arguments for nonstandard section ordering (Talk:Seattle Fault#External links) in which case (s)he reverted my corrections. — Brianhe (talk) 00:19, 27 August 2012 (UTC)
Exact same issues exist with Puget Sound faults and its related articles. --Biker Biker (talk) 09:04, 27 August 2012 (UTC)

Johnny Minick draft

Hi,

I've been working on the Johnny Minick article. I think it's ready for publication, but not sure how to link this article to appropriate pages such The Happy Goodman Family and Gaither Homecoming. Can you help?

Wikipedia Takes Seattle! September 15

This is a reminder that Wikipedia Takes Seattle! is Saturday, September 15. We will be taking photos from the list National Register of Historic Places listings in Seattle, Washington for the Wikipedia:Wikipedia Takes America contest. And also from Category:Wikipedia requested photographs in Seattle, Washington, though there's no contest for that.

We're meeting at Oddfellows Cafe + Bar at Oddfellows Hall (Seattle, Washington) 1525 10th Avenue at 9:00 AM. There's still time to organize an after party as well, but it's up to you to nominate a place and time. Hope to see you there. --Dennis Bratland (talk) 16:09, 8 September 2012 (UTC)

Foreign Languages

Hi, I noticed that there is a link that cites the names of the ten falcon bikes, but it is in a german magazine. I would love to know how I could find out what the rules of Wikipedia are in regard to sources in foreign languages? Thanks. I've tried to ask the advice of other editors on but have come across extreme snarkiness. Would appreciate your wisdom. https://www.motofront.de/artikel/motorrad/falcon-motorcycles/ HaeckelLight (talk) 02:06, 20 November 2012 (UTC)

There's no problem with foreign language sources, however foreign language external links are strongly discouraged, see WP:NONENGEL. — Brianhe (talk) 03:13, 20 November 2012 (UTC)

I've helped added some works on your motorcycling films, looks prestigious.--GoShow (............................) 21:31, 4 December 2012 (UTC)

Not "mine", yours too! Thanks for contributing. Brianhe (talk) 21:48, 4 December 2012 (UTC)
  • Yeah, there could be at least an article of list of road movies with a variety from cars, trucks, and more to list in the road movies if the article comes about, while three-fourths of the chase categories are not even road movies, any suggestions to fixing the solution in building an article list. GoShow (............................) 21:25, 4 December 2012 (UTC)
Maybe there's a book or another reliable source listing road movies? Preferably, more than one source, actually. — Brianhe (talk) 18:14, 5 December 2012 (UTC)

Photos

Hi. I contributed two photos recently to wikipedia commons and put them on the Falcon Motorcycles page. For some reason, with no warning, they have been deleted. Please can you help me understand why and how I can re-upload them so that they stick to the page? Thanks so much. I would appreciate your advice. It seems as though everything I do to that page, even when following wikipedia protocal, it gets deleted or un done. Would appreciate the help of someone more knowledgable. Thank you. HaeckelLight (talk) 19:21, 9 December 2012 (UTC)

You should probably get in touch with an admin at Commons for an answer to that question. Commons is dostinct from Wikipedia. Actually, have you tried logging in to your Commons account to see if you have messages there? It's commons.wikimedia.org. I suspect there was a copyright issue that resulted in the file's deletion. All files uploaded to Commons have to be available per open license terms, including subsequent commercial use. Brianhe (talk) 19:33, 9 December 2012 (UTC)
To be honest you are on a hiding to nothing if you insist on pushing Falcon-related edits as the community clearly sees through your intentions. If you want to prove yourself to be a useful editor, then why not stay away from the Falcon article and instead concentrate on improving other motorcycle or motorcycle customiser articles? We are a very forgiving bunch with surprisingly short memories when someone shows themselves to be willing to change. --Biker Biker (talk) 22:14, 9 December 2012 (UTC)
Also, the warnings that the files would be deleted appeared almost a month ago, on User_talk:HaeckelLight at Commons. There are links in the warnings that explain why they were deleted, such as Essential information. I'd read the links there, and only upload more photos if you're sure you understand the process. If you're not sure, then put Helpme on your commons talk page with your questions, like this
== How does X work? ==
{{helpme}}
Your question about X.

I agree that working on subjects other than Falcon Motorcycles would be most constructive.--Dennis Bratland (talk) 22:30, 9 December 2012 (UTC)
Brianhe Thank you. Biker Biker and Dennis Bratland I would like to start to try to work on other articles too, but would like to correct the errors I have already made first. Once I've corrected these errors with the photos I will attempt a new article and see if I have the same kind of trouble with that one!76.93.62.112 (talk) 23:55, 11 December 2012 (UTC)
