August 2012[edit]

Hello, I'm Pharaoh of the Wizards. I wanted to let you know that I undid one of your recent contributions, such as the one you made to Template:Queen (album), because it didn’t appear constructive to me. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks, Pharaoh of the Wizards (talk) 04:31, 15 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Song pages[edit]

Hi BrightLightFright, I noticed you've been making several pages of songs (mainly from Aerosmith). It looks like most of them don't meet the notability guidelines to have their own page though. Please read this guideline about pages for songs and determine if the song has notability before creating the page: WP:notability (songs). Here's an excerpt: "Songs that have been ranked on national or significant music charts, that have won significant awards or honors or that have been independently released as a recording by several notable artists, bands or groups are probably notable. Notability aside, a separate article on a song is only appropriate when there is enough verifiable material to warrant a reasonably detailed article." If you can show with reliable sources that the song meets any of those criteria, then it should be fine. If not, the page should just redirect to the artist or other relevant page, like Aerosmith discography, instead. I hope you enjoy editing and continue to help out around here. Happy editing.
